History:
(Journey into Mystery II#1/3) - Laura Warmer began having recurring dreams which she shared with Mark Russel, a hitman. In the dreams, Death appeared before the two of them and told Mark that Laura was the "Angel of Retribution" for the life he had taken and warned Mark to be afraid of her. Laura had never met Mark in real life and the recurring nature of the dreams left her unnerved.
One night, Laura awoke after having the same dream and struggled to get back to sleep. She took medicine to help her sleep, but wound up sleepwalking. Wandering from her apartment building, she roamed out into the street. At that very moment, Mark Russel was driving home, having become drunk while trying to rid himself of their shared dreams. When Mark saw Laura, in his drunken state she appeared almost ghostly to him and he feared she had come as "the Angel of Retribution." Panicked, Mark swerved his car, crashed into a building and died instantly. The sleepwalking Laura wandered back to her apartment and returned to her bed. Her dreams were no longer troubled as the recurring dream didn't return -- since Mark Russel had finally paid for his crime.
