vibe-kpop-profHistory:

(Luna Snow: World Tour#1 (fb) - BTS) - Vibe was a big fan of K-Pop star and super hero Luna Snow.

(Luna Snow: World Tour#1 (fb) - BTS) - Allegedly seeking to bring some love to the world that seemed to be filling up with hate, the Titanian Eternal Eros, aka Starfox, adopted the identity of promoter Mr. Renard and enlisted Vibe to be his next superstar.

(Luna Snow: World Tour#1) - While starting her world tour in Seoul, Korea, Luna Snow was booed by protesters for having supporting the rule of Doom as part of Tiger Division. Luna's manager, Mr. Baek, resigned, and he announced that he was now working with Mr. Renard, who then introduced the new singer Vibe.

Vibe swiftly won-over the crowd with her performance of her song "Good Vibes." Renard further advised Luna that Vibe had powers, too, but they were a little "warmer" than Luna's. With Eros using his own pleasure power to amplify the crowd's enjoyment of Vibe's singing, he told Luna that maybe it was time to retire. Luna was not ensorceled by the song, and she later claimed that is was her musician nature that allowed her to resist that.

(Luna Snow: World Tour#1 - BTS) - Later, after Luna had performed at a small venue in Tokyo, a giant pink robot showed up playing "Good Vibes," and the people were overcome with love for the song and they happily dumped their money into its collection receptacle. Realizing something was wrong, Luna froze the robot, but it somehow got free and began firing hearts (I really couldn't tell if this was akin to the pleasure power to make her love something or whether they were solid hearts that were striking like a weapon). However, Sunfire, who had previously been bewitched by the song as well, then destroyed the robot.

(Luna Snow: World Tour#1 - BTS) - Renard invited the super hero Wave (Pearl Pangan) to Vibe's concert in Manila, the Philippines. Luna contacted Wave and advised her to wear noise-canceling earplugs that would allow her to hear conversation but to block out the music.

(Luna Snow: World Tour#1) - As Vibe was playing before a large crowd in Manila, the Philippines, Renard noted Wave didn't seem that impressed, and told him Vibe's music was fine but that she was no Luna Snow. As Wave discussed her earplugs, a pair of giant squid/krakens/daikaiju showed up, apparently also drawn to and loving the music, but also being somewhat of a threat to the crowd. Wave tried to drive the monsters away, and Sunfire destroyed Vibe's sound system, ending her show. Vibe asked Renard what was happening, and he assured her that it was just another beautiful day.vibe-kpop-chillax

(Luna Snow: World Tour#1 (fb) - BTS) - At some point thereafter, Renard and Vibe vanished.

(Luna Snow: World Tour#1 - BTS) - Wave and Luna drove the monsters back out to the sea, after which Sunfire appreciated that Renard and Vibe had vanished. Wave wondered what Renard and Vibe wanted, and Sunfire replied, "What does anyone want? Money. Attention. Kaiju." Luna appreciated that whatever was going on was linked to their tour, and she resolved to end this with their next performance in Central Park, Manhattan, New York.

(Luna Snow: World Tour#1 (fb) - BTS) - Luna recruited Rick Jones via Amadeus Cho, and met with him, Sunfire and Wave in Central Park.

(Luna Snow: World Tour#1) - As Luna performed before a large crowd, the giant pink robots showed up and began collecting money again, at which point Luna froze one of the robots and the others engaged other robots that flew in. With Renard's encouragement, Vibe kept playing until Rick Jones smashed the sound system. Vibe was disappointed, after which Renard slung Jones into the curtains or something and then revealed his true identity.

At Luna's query, Starfox explained that the world was filling up with so much hate and stated that he just wanted to bring a little love to the table. He further explained that he had been using Vibe's musical gift as an amplifier of his own power of seduction to make so many people so much nicer.

As Starfox continued that love had to be strong but that Vibe didn't quite have that fire in her belly, Rick checked on Vibe, who was sitting on the ground, distraught after being suddenly separated from Starfox's power/influence.

After Starfox tried to convince Luna that he could use his powers to make her the greatest performer the world had ever known and that she could unite humanity. After Luna refused him, Starfox tried to use his powers to force her, but then Vibe battered him with bunch of little hearts, ensorceled him with her song and sent him to "go home."

Vibe then apologized to Luna, telling her that she didn't evening know what was happening and that this whole thing had been a nightmare. She told Luna that she was such a fan, and she felt bad that everyone was mad at Luna now. Luna told her not to worry about, as she was learning that that's how show business was. As they fled from angry fans, Vibe asked what they would do with no manager, no label and no fans, and Luna replied, "maybe we just vibe."

Vibe, Luna, Wave, Sunfire and Rick hung out in Central Park, with Rick playing guitar as a number of kids adored Vibe and Luna.

I normally really enjoy Greg Pak's stories.
I didn't love Luna Snow: World Tour. A lot of it was good, but it was never clear to me:

What are Vibe's powers? Some degree of mind control, but was she consciously using them to influence her fans?
Why was Vibe working with Starfox to outshine Luna Snow? Was Starfox manipulating her with his pleasure power? After she sent him away, she at least acted like she didn't know what was happening.
Why Starfox was gathering money if all he wanted was to provide was love, etc. That's really out of character.
What was the deal with the robots? Were they remotely powered by Luna and/or Eros to make people love the song and give them money? Where did the robots come from? Titan? Why?
What was the deal with the giant squids/krakens? I guess they were drawn by the music, but were they doing any damage?

The promo for the Luna Snow: World Tour describes Vibe as a K-Pop star. I don't know if that by definition makes her Korean or if she just plays music in that style. I didn't think she looked very Asian (not just her eye and hair color, which could be contacts, dye or part of her superhuman nature).
Grendel Prime advised me that not all K-Pop stars are Korean. Most, but not all, are Asian...and some people have eye surgery to l
