Base of Operations: New York City, New York;

First Appearance: Spider-Boy II#3 (January, 2024)
Powers/Abilities: Based on the Super-Adaptoid's
pantograph technology, Toy Soldier can duplicate the features, powers
and abilities of anyone within scanning range. He comes equipped with
templates of the entire Avengers roster, which grant him a wide array
of superpowers. He has been seen mimicking Iron Man's armor and
repulsor rays, Captain Marvel's energy blasts, the (She-)Hulk's
strength, Vision's flight and Thor's godlike control over his hammer. He
can also channel individual Avengers' personalities and traits, actively
using their innate intelligence and scientific knowledge to come up with
new solutions for complex issues. Toy Soldier's body is covered with
unstable molecules that allow him to shift his form to reflect the
people he is duplicating. So far, he seems incapable of increasing his
size. Toy Soldier has imprinted on the Avengers' collective heroic
nature, giving him the desire to do good.
Height: Unrevealed (approximately 0'11")

History:
(Spider-Boy II#3 (fb) - BTS) - Killionaire hired the Taskmaster to steal
the inert Super-Adaptoid from the SHIELD Helicarrier, planning to use it
as a template for a personalized suit of armor with all the powers of
the Avengers.
(Spider-Boy II#2 - BTS) - Taskmaster was opposed by Captain America and
Spider-Boy and only managed to escape with the Super-Adaptoid's left
hand.
(Spider-Boy II#3 (fb) - BTS) - Doctor Shannon Stillwell was contracted
by Killionaire to create the Adaptoid armor, but with only a little bit
of the robot to work with she decided to get creative. Instead of a suit
of armor, she constructed Toy Soldier, a limited-edition, voice-controlled action figure with all the powers of the Avengers.
(Spider-Boy II#3) - Stillwell revealed Toy Soldier to Taskmaster and
Killionaire. The mercenary was less than impressed; part of his payment
was getting a suit of armor as well. Eager to test his new toy,
Killionaire ordered the tiny robot to destroy Taskmaster. Shifting to a
facsimile of Iron Man's armor, the artificial lifeform chased Taskmaster
away with a barrage of repulsor blasts.
(Spider-Boy II#3 - BTS) - Killionaire dreamed up a scheme
to introduce Toy Soldier to his followers in a way that would generate
the most likes.
(Spider-Boy II#3) - Flanked by his bodyguards Boyd and Floyd,
Killionaire went to Midtown Manhattan for a livestream where he showed
off Toy Soldier's destructive capabilities. His followers got to decide
what he would destroy and which form he should use. Toy Soldier
dutifully obeyed orders: shattering a video wall as Captain Marvel, destroying a
red sports car as the Hulk and tossing a nearby dog in the air as
Vision. The pet was rescued by Spider-Boy, who happened to be nearby. The
young hero taunted Killionaire, who was still livestreaming events and
gleefully sent Toy Soldier against his opponent. Spider-Boy was
overwhelmed by his diverse attacks, with the robot shifting into
She-Hulk, Silver Surfer, Tigra and Thor. A blow from his tiny hammer
floored Spider-Boy, who was stunned when the tiny, green Thor stole his
shoes because Killionaire wanted them.
(Spider-Boy II#3 - BTS) - Killionaire reveled in his
enemy's humiliation as he watched him lose both shoes.
(Spider-Boy II#3) - Spider-Boy begged Toy Soldier not to steal his
shoes, reasoning that the real Thor wouldn't stoop to that level. Toy
Soldier replied that he wasn't the real Thor, only a child's plaything
that did what it was told. Spider-Boy then tried to grab Toy Soldier's
version of Mjolnir, only to find he couldn't lift it. This gave him an
idea: he had Toy Soldier look at the inscription on the hammer,
reminding him that he was just as worthy and deserving as Thor.
Channeling the heroism and nobility of all the Avengers, Toy Soldier
turned against Killionaire and offered his services freely to
Spider-Boy, announcing he wanted to be his sidekick. Briefly considering
the offer, Spider-Boy felt it wouldn't be right. He instructed Toy
Soldier to go out and be his own hero. Toy Soldier flew off, announcing
to the world he would seek out new adventures, find those in need
and help whenever he could.
(Spider-Boy II#7 (fb) - BTS) - Toy Soldier teamed up with Squirrel Girl
to save some squirrels in Central Park.
(Spider-Boy II#7) - Toy Soldier decided he wanted to join
the Avengers, only to be turned away when he showed up at the Jarvis
Lounge. Luckily, Squirrel Girl was present and vouched for him. Toy
Soldier was still on hand when Spider-Man and Miles Morales showed up at
the Jarvis Lounge to get help in rescuing the kidnapped Spider-Boy. Toy
Soldier accompanied the other heroes to Stillwell Farms where they
fought Madame Monstrosity and her small army of armed Humanimals. The
human-animal hybrids proved no match for the heroes, so Madame
Monstrosity decided to activate doomsday scenario omega. Stepping into
her gene splicer with seven animals, she turned herself into the
gigantic Monstrosity. Toy Soldier stood with the other heroes and the
now freed Humanimals to oppose her, but before the final fight could
start, Monstrosity was teleported away by the High Evolutionary, who had
taken an interest in her new, unique genetic structure.
(Spider-Boy II#7 - BTS) - Monstrosity became the Evolutionary's
unwilling test subject.
(Spider-Boy II#8) - Toy Soldier proved instrumental in
helping Spider-Man find a way to turn the Humanimals back to their human
form. He channeled the scientific genius of Henry Pym, Tony Stark and
Hank McCoy to devise a way to undo Madame Monstrosity's genetic
handiwork. Aided by her lab assistants Mr. Squeakerton and Mr. Cricket,
the heroes jury-rigged Monstrosity's gene splicer. Christina Xu
volunteered to test the device and was successfully restored after
Madame Monstrosity merged her with a pigeon.
(Spider-Boy II#8 - BTS) - Toy Soldier was on hand to assist in the
transformation of all the Humanimals who were capable of regaining their
human form. Notable exceptions were Hellifino, who was merged with not
one but two animals, and Spider-Boy and Boy-Spider, who shared genetic
material.
(Spider-Boy II#8) - Toy Soldier, in his Thor form, flew alongside the
Quinjet from Stillwell Farm back to New York City.
(Spider-Boy II#20 - BTS) - Toy Soldier joined Spider-Boy
and his Amazing Friends in opposing Professor Emilio Helio and his
Inflata-Saurs who were threatening to detonate their super helium
bomb. He kept out of sight, ready to serve as the team's ace in the hole,
but the threat of Balloon Man was quickly neutralized without him.
(Spider-Boy II#20) - In the aftermath, Toy Soldier helped convince
Spider-Boy he should relinquish control of the Gaping Maw, the elite
group of tong ninjas that had been under his command. Toy Soldier
reminded the young hero that granting other people freedom was the right
thing to do. When Spider-Man was reluctant to compliment his young
sidekick for making the right call, Toy Soldier channeled Spider-Man's
template and personality and assured Bailey Briggs that the hero was
indeed proud of him: "And if he has to have a sidekick, he's glad it's
you."

There's something undeniably adorable about the notion
that there's an action-figure-sized Super-Adaptoid flying around Manhattan
who likes to remind everyone he has the power of all the Avengers. The
upper limits of his abilities have yet to be determined, but he really
might be the most powerful Avenger who never was.
