Powers/Abilities: Tin Angel is a sentient robot composed of an unidentified metal  and powered by unidentified sources. His internal energy source would release explosive energy if torn asunder.

    He may have possessed superhuman strength, although he did not demonstrate many feats of strength, preferring to use his energy blaster, which could be set to stun or to blast through a solid metal door.

    His metallic frame granted him superhuman durability, although a strong wrestler robot could tear his torso in half. However, that did not incapacitate him, and his head and arms could still function normally.
    He could almost certainly be rebuilt given the means and materials to do so.

    While his energy requirements are unrevealed, he likely was far more resistant than human to extreme cold and heat (although he would likely melt under sufficient heat), and he did not need air, food or water, and he could likely survive in the frigid vacuum of space. 

    Tin Angel spoke in slang and demonstrated emotions. He demonstrated some animosity to organic beings, referring to people as meats and noting that he enjoyed the smell of burning flesh. Nonetheless, he was willing to work for organic beings (or, at least, a cyborg such as Johnny Clock work) and with humans, such as Mercy McGill.tin_angel-24119-tw6-full-front

History:
(Tekworld#6 (fb) - BTS) - The cyborg Johnny Clockwork, who operated the Earth-orbiting satellite/casino Club Space, sought to obtain the anti-Tek system, which could presumably protect others from or treat the effects of the mind-altering, digital drug known as Tek. To this end, he employed the mercenaries Mercy McGill and Tin Angel to abduct Beth Kittridge, whose father had developed the anti-Tek system.

(Tekworld#6 - BTS) - Kurt Winterguild of the International Drug Control Agency (IDCA) warned Beth and her boyfriend, Jake Corrigan, that parties, including some Teklords, wanted her dead while others wanted the secret. A pair of IDCA agents were being sent to escort her to her home.

    The next day, Jake's friend Sid Gomez learned that the person currently targeting Beth was Johnny Clockwork via his agents Tin Angel and Mercy McGill.

(Tekworld#6 (fb) - BTS) - At Moonbase II, Tin Angel used a parasite control module to take control of an IDCA security robot (either the robot was designated Clunk, or Tin Angel just called it that) and command it to plant a bomb on a monocar.

(Tekworld#6 - BTS) - At Moonbase II, Clunk escorted the two arriving IDCA agents to the monocar that would take them directly to the inn where Beth was staying.

(Tekworld#6) - After the two IDCA agents were en route, Clunk reported to Tin Angel, noting that he had done as ordered, and Tin Angel noted his pleasure with his performance and of the function of the parasite control. Noting that he loved the smell of burning flesh in the morning, Tin Angel pressed a control on his wrist, detonating the bomb and presumably killing the IDCA agents.

(Tekworld#6 (fb) - BTS) - Tin Angel sneaked into Jake Corrigan's ship.

(Tekworld#6) - After Jake, Beth and Sid took off for Earth, Tin Angel revealed his presence, holding them at gunpoint and instructing them to change course to Club Space.

(Tekworld#7) - After the ship docked at Club Space, Cardigan caused a distraction while Sid forcibly took the keys from one of Clockwork's goons. Despite Cardigan wrapping his arms around Tin Angel's neck, the robot dropped Sid from a stun blast and then hurled Cardigan to the floor. While Sid was taken to a holding cell, Tin Angel brought Jake and Beth to Clockwork, who explained that he wanted control of the Anti-Tek system so he could charge every Teklord in the world a large fee to stay in business. When Beth tossed Mercy across the room into Tin Angel, Mercy prepared to fire on Beth, disregarding Clockwork's instructions to the contrary; however, Tin Angel stopped her, advising her that she was making a bad impression. Clockwork advised Beth that if she didn't turn over the process to him, they were going to kill Sid first and then Jake.

(Tekworld#7 (fb) - BTS) - To give them time to think about things, Jake and Beth were locked in a storeroom.
(Tekworld#7 - BTS) - After confirming that they were not being monitored, Jake and Beth located a number of wrestler robots stored inert in the boxes within the storeroom. tin_angel-24119-tw7-upper-hanging

(Tekworld#7 (fb) - BTS) - Beth reactivated and reprogrammed the wrestler robots to follow her instructions.

(Tekworld#7 - BTS) - The wrestler robots helped Jake and Beth take out the guards and escape the storeroom, after which they encountered Sid, who had been freed by his friend Fanny Sinclair. Fanny led them to control central, where they deactivated the security robots and temporarily shut down the air supply, causing most of the people in Club Space to pass out.

(Tekworld#7) - While Mercy and Clockwork donned oxygen masks, Tin Angel, advised them that there were intruders in the control room.

    Tin Angel subsequently blasted through the door and blew apart one of the wrestler robots. However, as he targeted Jake, another of the wrestler robots grabbed Tin Angel and ripped him in half, with an explosion separating his head and upper torso from his lower body. While the others considered him to be finished, Tin Angel grabbed a cable to pull him a few feet off the ground and then warned the others to give up or he would blast Beth.

    Jake then held up a device noting that Beth had rigged it so that it could cause every gambling machine on Club Space to pay out hundred-to-one odds on all bets. Faced with the prospect of being out of business and in tremendous debt, Clockwork instructed Tin Angel to let them go.

    After Jake, Beth, Sid and Fanny had taken off, Jake sent a message, informing Clockwork that he had bluffed him, as the device was actually just an ear cleaner...

    No origin information was provided for Tin Angel. He may have been created by someone, or he could be from some race of robots, or perhaps something else altogether...from where did he originate?

    Definitely remove your captives' handcuffs, lock them in a room containing inert robot warriors and do not monitor their activities. Clockwork deserved to fail!

Earth-24119 In the 22nd Century, former police officer Jake Cardigan investigated the Tek Lords, who dealt the mind-altering, digital drug tek. Tekworld #1 (1992)
Presumably the Marvel Adaptation is a variant of the TekWar novels rather than being in the same continuity, but I'm not familiar with Tekworld or TekWar. I just read these two issues to do the profile.
