History:
(Mystic Comics I#2/7) - The "Swastikians" were Nazi military and espionage agents who were active internationally. Two of them went to Washington D.C. and happened to take a taxi ride from Jim "Taxi" Taylor. They were unaware Taylor's vehicle, the Wonder Car, had hidden speakers that allowed Taylor to eavesdrop on their conversation as the two men talked about planting mines to destroy American vessels. Taylor brought the two men to their location without revealing he was wise to their plans. From their base in the States, the two agents sent a wireless message to a ship at sea, telling them to plant mines which would destroy the Queen Mary and the Normandie. However, Taylor intercepted these messages.
The Swastikians in the ship began planting the mines but Taxi Taylor intercepted them in his Wonder Car and destroyed the mines. The Swastikians dropped a depth charge on the Wonder Car, then sent one of their men down in a diving suit to investigate, assuming the Wonder Car had been destroyed. The agent in the diving suit encountered Taxi Taylor, who was also in a diving suit, making repairs; Taxi cut the Swastikian diver's air hose, killing him. The repaired Wonder Car attacked the Swastikian ship and sucked the ship underwater, apparently killing the entire crew.
The spies in Washington D.C. learned of the ship being sunk and started destroying their hideout and papers. However, Taxi Taylor put out the fire and recovered enough evidence for the police to arrest the Swastikian spies.

An ingenious bit of subterfuge; no one would ever guess the characters in this story were Nazis!
