Powers/Abilities: Siphon was a mutated human that was forced to feed on any kind of regenerative abilities from other beings like mutants, mutates, vampires, etc. He often not not only stole the healing abilities from other beings, but actually slew them during the process. When he was well fed he regained some of his past memories and his intellect, but if he was forced to heal himself from injuries he not only increased his hunger but also lost his intellect more and more. His color also changed from a bright green (fed) to chalk-white (famished) the hungrier he was.
In addition to a healing factor he also possessed superhuman strength and a monstrous form with enlarged hands with talon-like nails and a jaw filled with pointed teeth. He is seemingly incapable of feeling pain and is barely bothered by physical injuries as long as he still had some of the stolen healing factor remaining.

History:
(Wolverines#14 (fb) - BTS) - The man that would become the creature
known as Siphon was once a teacher as far as he remembers. Under unknown
circumstances he became a test subject against his will for Dr. Abraham
Cornelius at the Arcadia Foundation's Paradise facility. He was heavily
mutated by Cornelius and became a monster that fed on the healing factor
of other beings.
(Death of Wolverine: The Logan Legacy#7 (fb) - BTS) - Siphon was even feared by Dr. Cornelius.
(Death of Wolverine: The Logan Legacy#7) - Siphon made his way to the Croatian castle where fellow Weapon X refugees Shogun, Skel and Neuro had imprisoned Daken, Elixir, Lady Deathstrike, Mystique, Sabretooth and X-23 in an energy prison. Shogun and Neuro were shocked to see Siphon crash through the ceiling into the cell and warned their captives to stay away from him. Neuro explained that Siphon was a Paradise test subject that even Cornelius was afraid of. Elixir vowed to take down Siphon with his deadly touch, but Siphon just grabbed him and fed on Elixir's energies until he was seemingly died. Mystique begged Shogun to release them because Siphon would otherwise kill them all. Neuro agreed and Shogun deactivated the energy barrier. Shogun challenged Siphon to face him, but Siphon had no interest in him and instead went after Daken next. Siphon fed on Daken's regenerative ability until X-23 interfered. Siphon took off after telling X-23 that he would save her for later. Unfortunately for Daken his regenerative powers were gone after his encounter with Siphon.
(Wolverines#3) - Looking for more individuals with regenerative abilities he could feed on, Siphon tracked down fellow Arcadia Foundation test subject Fantomelle to Hotel Majestic in Barcelona, Spain and broke through the window and wall. Fantomelle's thief friend, another test subject, recognized Siphon and knew that he was after Fantomelle's healing factor so he told her to get out while he bought her some time. Siphon easily absorbed the friend's hits and tossed him out the hole in the wall and then was ready to go after Fantomelle again, but X-23, who had arrived with the other Wolverines in the Changeling stealth plane, shot off Siphon's hands with a shotgun.
(Wolverines#4) - X-23 asked Fantomelle to step away. Shogun once again warned X-23 to not get close to Siphon herself or else she could lose her healing factor like Daken. Skel got ahold of Siphon, whose hands had already grown back, and turned him around for Shogun to cut through him with with his sword. Skel and Shogun seriously injured Siphon, but Skel kept beating on Siphon and broke his neck even after Shogun told him that they had to leave. Shogun then kicked Siphon in the head and dropped a grenade that blew up the whole room. The Wolverines, Skel and Shogun escaped with Siphon's fate remaining unclear after the explosion.
(Wolverines#14 (fb) - BTS) - Old allies of Daken on the West Coast fronted the reward for finding Siphon. Shigeru came up with the idea to find a cluster of healers and let Siphon come to them by leaking rumors of the location. The plan worked and Siphon entered the hideout of a hidden vampire community in Death Valley.
(Wolverines#14 - BTS) - Daken was informed where to find Siphon and together with X-23 traveled to Death Valley.
(Wolverines#14) - They found Siphon in an abandoned truck stop (?) standing over vampire skeletons. He faced off with the vampire-hunter Blade, whose vampire-hunting he interrupted, but Daken pushed Blade out of the way because he wanted to kill Siphon on his own. Daken quickly realized that Siphon was far stronger then him. Meanwhile X-23 explained to Blade that Siphon fed on healing powers and that Daken had a score to settle with him. Blade had a score to settle with Siphon as well. Daken was surprised to hear Siphon quote the Book of Five Rings. Siphon explained that he regained some of his memories when he was fully charged. He made it clear that he was not sorry that he had stolen Daken's healing powers because Daken was a mass murderer and the world would be better off without him and made it clear that the more Daken hurt him, the more monstrous Siphon would become. Daken didn't care and agreed to duel Siphon so he could tear him apart. A group of vampires interrupted the duel, but Blade and X-23 took care of them while Daken got his arm broken by Siphon, who made it clear that this trap seemed to be for both of them. Despite his broken arm Daken still wanted to take out Siphon by himself, but X-23 couldn't allow him to die and cut off four of Siphon's fingers, which he almost immediately grew back. Siphon caught her by the throat and was going to feed on her healing powers as well, but Daken wasn't finished with him yet.
(Wolverines#15) - Daken reminded Siphon that this was supposed to be an honorable duel between them, but according to Siphon it was X-23's own fault because she had interfered. X-23 escaped Siphon's grip by stabbing him in the arm and he was forced to heal again, which took away more of his mind. Daken took the fight to him again and got his leg broken by the now more monstrous Siphon. Because the attacking vampires had already been destroyed, Blade switched his attention to Siphon, but X-23 tackled him so that Siphon could not steal his healing powers as well. Daken, despite his multiple injuries, took another shot at Siphon and headbutted him. Blade jumped at Siphon with his sword, but got swatted aside like a bug. X-23, Daken and Blade then worked together to dice, slice and ultimately impale Siphon and leave him stuck on the ground. The other Wolverines arrived in the Changeling and took the unconscious Siphon aboard and put him in stasis inside one of the ship's cells.
(Wolverines#16) - Siphon remained in a cell on the Changeling.
(Wolverines#19) - Mystique posed as X-23 to trick Daken into releasing Siphon to use him against Mister Sinister. Daken went through with it, but had a hard time convincing the almost mindless Siphon that he was not trying to fight him. After getting bitten in the right hand by Siphon, Daken managed to put a chain around his neck and led him to his next meal in the form of Mister Sinister. Siphon fed on Sinister's healing factor, which left Sinister an easier target for Shogun to cut apart. Siphon was well fed and thanked Daken for the feast. He was sure that this meal would keep him fed for months as long as he avoided any injuries, but only a moment later Siphon was shot by Mystique and then teleported to cage somewhere in the swamp near Citrusville, Florida by Portal alongside Shogun, Daken, Lady Deathstrike, Sabretooth and X-23.
(Wolverines#20) - The famished Siphon awakened and went after fellow prisoner Sabretooth whose healing factor he feasted on. The others didn't interfere because they hoped it would be enough to calm Siphon down, but X-23 wouldn't allow that to happen and jumped at Siphon with her claws out only to get her healing factor taken away as well by Siphon. Siphon was still hungry, but Shogun tried to protect Lady Deathstrike from him. To Daken's surprise Lady Deathstrike came to Shogun's aid because she actually loved him. Siphon knocked out Shogun and then fed on Deathstrike's healing factor to finally regain enough of his mind to realize what he had done. His mind was just restored in time for Portal to bring Siphon to Mystique and then use the Zhulong, a Chinese artifact that could take energy from one being to another and changing it as it did. Portal connected himself with the Zhulong to Siphon and absorbed the healing factor energy from him. Portal then teleported the hungry Siphon back to the prison on Mystique's order and then opened a portal for her to multiversal coordinates left for her by her late lover Destiny (Irene Adler). Siphon was hungry, but none of the prisoners had anything he could feed on so Sabretooth came up with the idea to use Siphon like a bloodhound to find Mystique. Their plan worked, but Deathstrike decapitated Siphon as soon as they didn't need him anymore.
