History: (Strange Tales II#3/5) - While listening to music through headphones, Rogue closed her eyes while walking and accidentally broke Professor Xavier's favorite vase. Discovering the scene of the crime, Professor used his telepathic powers to identify Rogue as the culprit and called out for her. Thinking quickly, Rogue grabbed a nearby kitten and absorbed its power to avoid blame for anything. Professor X came face to face with Rogue only to be overwhelmed by her cuteness and patted her on the head, unable to stay mad at her.

(Rogue & Gambit#5 (fb) - BTS) - Rogue of Earth-616 glimpsed those events in a dream.

(Rogue & Gambit#5 - BTS) - Rogue-616 talked about her dream to Gambit, who was astonished that something like that could work and commented that it would make his chere unstoppable.
