History:

(Strange Tales I#181) - Rha'gor was one of the Black Knights of the Universal Church of Truth who were assigned to "Homeworld" (Sirus X). One night, Rha'gor had just finished his patrol at the Church's Holy Palace and was relieved of duty when he was grabbed by Gamora and Pip the Troll, who had come seeking the Church's prisoner Adam Warlock. Although Pip was holding a gun on Rha'gor, Rha'gor was barely aware of Pip's presence, instead reacting with terror at the sight of Gamora. Rha'gor agreed to say anything as long as Gamora kept away from him. When Pip tried to impress him by shoving his gun into Rha'gor's ribs, the fragile gun barrel crumbled into pieces. Rha'gor informed them Adam Warlock was being held in the sub-basement of the Holy Palace in a section called the Pit, explaining that was where the Curch reconditioned people. Gamora let Rha'gor go and he fled as fast as he could run.

    There's an orange-skinned Black Knight in Warlock I#10 who could be Rha'gor.

    Rha'gor was the first person in comics to refer to Gamora by her name.

    After the events of Warlock I#11 when the timeline was altered and the Universal Church of Truth became benign, Rha'gor wouldn't have been a Black Knight any longer.

    This profile was completed on 02/26/2026 but its publication was delayed, as it was intended for the Appendix's 25th anniversary celebratory event.
