History:
(Marvel Spotlight I#31 (fb) - BTS) - Madame Renour was once a spy for the French government. She met Nick Fury once in Vietnam, at which time they were on the same side. In the modern era, Madame Renour was contacted by the criminal Steel Harris, who was blackmailing Nick Fury over the Infinity Formula and chose Madame Renour to act as his go-between. Steel gave Madame Renour a poker chip from the Golden Dagger casino in Las Vegas, Nevada and told her to give it to Fury when he came.
(Marvel Spotlight I#31) - When Fury came to Madame Renour's home in the Latin quarter of Paris, her bodyguards attempted to drive Fury away but he bested them in a fight, then confronted her in her home. Madame Renour tried to make small talk with him but Fury was desperate to obtain the Infinity Formula and had no interest in "chit-chat." Disappointed, Madame Renour gave Fury the poker chip and warned him Steel Harris was "one dangerous customer" but that was all she knew about him.
Comments: Created by Jim Starlin and Howard Chaykin.
Madame Renour was supposed to have been in Vietnam with Nick Fury in the 1950s. It's always possible they were actually in Sin-Cong in the Pre-Modern Era - instead of the 1950s, it could just be 20 years before the main story.
