History:

(My Friend Irma I#3/4) - Patty was dating Danny, her photographer. Patty's fellow model and rival Rita Rogers was jealous of their relationship and decided to break them up. Rita hired three male actors to accost Patty while she was with Danny, thinking this would make Danny believe Patty was unfaithful to him. However, instead of making him jealous, Danny was proud to be dating a woman who was so desireable to other men. Danny brushed off Rita as he set off for another date with Patty.

(Hedy of Hollywood Comics I#38/5) - Patty's boss, Mr. Towers, received as a special client Mrs. Duvarry, the head of a modeling school. Before signing a 5-year contract with Towers, Mrs. Duvarry wanted Patty to deliver a public performance that would convince women to become pupils in her school. Jealous that the performance had gone to Patty, Rita secretly rewrote Patty's script so that instead of demonstrating poise, charm and grace, she'd put on a rambunctious performance designed to humiliate her. On the day of the performance, Patty unwittingly followed Rita's sabotaged script. Realizing this was a disaster, Danny quickly grabbed a microphone and claimed Patty's uncouth performance was designed to demonstrate how women behaved before enrolling at the modeling school, then asked Patty to show how they would behave afterward. Danny's quick thinking saved Patty's reputation and won Mr. Towers the contract.

(Joker Comics I#42/2) - Patty was offered a role as a cowgirl working for Two-Gun Hiccup in Paris, Texas. Patty refused the job; knowing only that it was in Paris, Rita campaigned to take the contract and plied and flattered Patty, gifting her with a mink coat. Rita also tried to poison Patty's relationship with Danny, claiming that Danny was keeping Patty away from the good modeling contract. Convinced of Rita's good nature, Patty gifted her with the contract in Paris, Texas. Rita was unimpressed when she discovered the part truly entailed.

Comments: Created by an unidentified writer and artist.

    In Hedy of Hollywood Comics I#38/5, Mrs. Duvarry called her "Patty Pinup," suggesting that's her real name. Another case of nominative determinism!

    Patty's stories were practically identical to those of Millie the Model.
