History: (Marvel's Voices Infinity Comic#45 (fb) - BTS) - Yuki Ohara is the mutant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ohara who live in the suburbs of Ontario. Her electrical powers manifested before she was nineteen years old and were sought after by intergalactic courier services, who approached Yuki with an offer to power their spacecraft. Her mother wanted her to have a regular job with a contract and benefits, but Yuki wanted to travel, and so she accepted the job.
(Marvel's Voices Infinity Comic#47 (fb) - BTS) - Yuki's job took her to the moon of Ra'a'a'a in the Hala system which came under attack from a giant planet-devouring entity Megasonic Endless Godhead (Ellie Phimister of future Reality-23346). The people of Ra'a'a'a had been building a giant mech suit for defense, but it was unfinished, and Yuki was the only one who could operate it with her powers.
(Marvel's Voices Infinity Comic#44 - BTS) - Back on Earth, Megasonic Endless Godhead's Earth-616 counterpart, Negasonic Teenage Warhead, experienced a vision of herself and Yuki -- whom she did not know -- having a kiss, which was a fixed point in time. She also had another vision in which the universe had collapsed when that fixed point was prevented from happening.
(Marvel's Voices Infinity Comic#46 - BTS) - Yuki sent out a distress call, which was picked up by Moondragon, who in turn informed Negasonic Teenage Warhead about Yuki's location.
(Marvel's Voices Infinity Comic#47) - From inside her mech suit, Yuki received a telepathic message from Negasonic Teenage Warhead. Believing it to be a spam advertisement, she blocked her and went on to face the Megasonic Endless Godhead. Yuki announced her intent not to fight but to talk, offering to find Megasonic Endless Godhead other worlds to feed upon if she agreed to leave Ra'a'a'a in peace. Megasonic Endless Godhead disliked even being looked at and attacked her. Negasonic Teenage Warhead appeared and rushed to protect Yuki, intercepting Megasonic Endless Godhead's blast and driving her away.
(Marvel's Voices Infinity Comic#48) - Negasonic Teenage Warhead appeared inside Yuki's mech and introduced herself, Yuki recognized her as both the giant woman and the regular person who stopped the giant woman. Ellie was about to ask Yuki on a date, but was interrupted by the Time Variance Authority who were after her for circumventing a fixed point in time.
(Marvel's Voices Infinity Comic#49) - Yuki and Ellie exited the mech and faced the TVA agents, who threatened to erase them both and replace them with suitable time variants. The threat to Yuki motivated Negasonic Teenage Warhead to fight back against the TVA, in which she was aided by her superhero friends. Reality was seconds away from collapsing, so Ellie used her powers to slow down time for herself and Yuki so that they could talk. Ellie explained to Yuki everything as the two of them went on a walk that turned into a date with donuts, outfit shopping, amusement park, and botanical gardens of Ra'a'a'a which to them appeared frozen. Yuki admitted to having fun, and as reality was cracking apart, she held Ellie in her arms and kissed her, restoring the fixed point and the flow of time. Yuki then asked whether the two of them could watch a movie for their second date.
Comments: Created by Andrew Wheeler and Carola Borelli.Yuki is apparently based on Yukio from the live-action films Deadpool 2 and Deadpool and Wolverine (set on Earth-10005/Earth-41633), where she is depicted as a mutant with electricity-based powers in romantic relationship with Negasonic Teenage Warhead and thus having little in common with Yukio of Earth-616.
Whether Yuki accepted Krakoan citizenship or even visited the island is presently unrevealed.
