Powers/Abilities: Neutrino Annihilator claimed he had an excellent healing factor. He had long fingernails on his hands that might have been claws (or were possibly a cosmetic affectation). His chief power was pyrokinesis, emitting powerful flame blasts from his hands.

History:
(Chamber I#1 (fb) - BTS) - When Empire State University opened its doors for students who were publicly known as mutants to enroll, Kirk was among them. Kirk declared his name was given to him by his "gene-trash parents" but that his "mutant name" was Neutrino Annihilator. Neutrino Annihilator formed Magnetic North, a student group that idolized Magneto, who at the time was believed to be dead. Neutrino Annihilator believed Magneto had died as a "martyr" to the mutant cause and that he wasn't afraid to stand up against their oppressors.

(Chamber I#4 (fb)) - Another mutant student, Alex, showed off his biokinetic powers to Magnetic North. Neutrino Annihilator seemed impressed by his powers and tried to teach him how to use them but could only teach him so much.

(Chamber I#1) - When Chamber enrolled at Empire State University to investigate the deaths of six of the mutant students who belonged to Students for Tolerance, Neutrino Annihilator and the rest of Magnetic North found Chamber talking to Amber, another mutant student. Neutrino Annhilator greeted Chamber by yelling "Hey, mutie!" at him then declared "We've appropriated that word from the humans, turned it into a term of affection." When Chamber questioned his worship of Magneto, Neutrino Annihilator accused Chamber of being "one of those Uncle Tom mutants" and considered Amber a "gene traitor." Unaware of what Chamber's power was, he tore open the wrapping that had concealed the energies covering Chamber's missing mouth and chest cavity. When Neutrino Annihilator asked "what happened to your face?," Chamber retorted "Come tomorrow, that's the same thing people are going to be asking... you!" and punched him in the face. Before the fight could continue, Gigi Martin appeared and reminded them that they could be expelled for using their powers on campus. As Gigi was the human leader of the Students for Tolerance, Neutrino Annhilator mocked the students' deaths then warned Chamber "bad things" could happen to him if he wasn't right with Magnetic North.

(Chamber I#2) - The following day, Neutrino Annihilator confronted Chamber and Amber in the campus dining hall and grabbed Chamber by the neck. Chamber derisively called him Kirk, irritating him. Neutrino Annihilator claimed he had a healing factor "second only to the mighty Sabretooth's" and so had healed from the previous day's fight. Neutrino Annihilator ordered Chamber to clean his shoes or else his friends would break Amber's arms. Chamber noted that if they did so, they'd be expelled but Neutrino Annihilator doubted it, believing the "bleeding heart humans" might stop donating to ESU if another mutant left the school. To prevent violence, Chamber cleaned Neutrino Annihilator's shoes but also tied the laces together. Chamber and Amber quickly left the dining hall as Neutrino Annihilator tripped and fell.

(Chamber I#3) - Neutrino Annihilator and Magnetic North went out to CBGB's, a club in Manhattan that permitted mutants to mingle. When Chamber again greeted him as Kirk, he retorted "the name is Neutrino Annihilator, cuz I'm phatter than the Blob and colder than Avalon." Chamber started to question Neutrino Annihilator about the murders but one of Neutrino Annihilator's friends recognized Chamber for recently dating the pop star Sugar Kane. Neutrino Annihilator was mortified: "So not only is he a gene-traitor... he's got lousy taste in music." Neutrino Annihilator fired a blast of pyrokinesis at Chamber but it had little effect on him. The rest of Magnetic North and other mutants in the club attacked Chamber but he easily fought them off. After seeing this, Neutrino Annihilator stepped up and shook Chamber's hand, impressed at his fighting prowess. Having seen the explosion that killed the six mutants was similar to the effects of his own biokinetic energy, Chamber asked Neutrino Annihilator if he knew any mutants with powers like his. Neutrino Annihilator answered that he had: Alex, one of the dead students.

(Chamber I#4 - BTS) - After Chamber proved the six mutants had been killed by one of their own, Empire State University opted to expel all the mutants from school except for Amber, meaning Neutrino Annihilator and Magnetic North were expelled.

    Chamber was just fine as a comic book but Neutrino Annihilator was next level. A decade later, this guy would have been an instant meme.

CLARIFICATIONS:
Neutrino Annihilator should not be confused with:

Magnetic North

Magnetic North was the students' group Neutrino Annihilator led at Empire State University. The group was populated entirely by mutants.

One student had red skin, large wings that permitted her to fly and long claws on her hands. Another had green skin and could generate a psionic shield to defend himself. Another had dark green skin but his powers were unrevealed; another had yellow skin and blue hair but her powers were also not revealed.
