Powers/Abilities: Nick Nack was a duplicitous
traveling salesman with his own van of assorted goods. He would listen
to a prospective customer's needs and offer an item, lying about its
appropriate usefulness; however, he was not fully aware of the functions
of all his goods (such as a magical flute he
thought was fake). He traveled in his van with his trained and loyal dog
Woody.

(Foofur#5/3 (fb) - BTS) - Duplicitous traveling salesman
Nick Nack traveled around the USA with his faithful dog Woody. Nack
somehow cam into possession of the fabled Flute of the Pied Puppy Piper,
which could captivate dogs and lead them away. However, Nack was unaware
the flute was the real thing.
(Foofur#5/3) - Nack chanced upon the Bowser Busters
dogcatchers (Mel and Harvey), frustrated at continually missing the
capture of runaway Foofur and his pack. Nack offered the sale of the
flute, marketing it as the magical flute, and the dogcatchers naively
believed him. Nack demonstrated the flute on his dog Woody, which
pretended (?) it was captivated and bounced along on its two hind legs.
The gullible dogcatchers handed over money and Nick Nack sped off in his
van, happy with his sale.

A long time ago, the Pied Puppy Piper used a magical flute
to hypnotize and lure away "a million" dogs from Mesopotamia and the
flute became a legend but lost to time. Somehow it came into possession
of duplicitous traveling salesman Nick Nack, who was unaware it was the
real thing. He sold it to the desperate dogcatchers Mel and Harvey, who
then quickly used it to try to lure their targets Foofur and his pack of
runaway dogs. The dogs were indeed captivated and almost went to the
dogcatchers, but were saved by their cat friend Fencer, who threw a
baseball at the flute, denting it, thereby affecting its properties and
instead attracting bats. Mel and Harvey abandoned the flute and fled.

Woody was Nick Nack's trained and loyal dog that
accompanied Nack in his traveling sales van. Nack, thinking it just a
simple flute, marketed the item as the fabled Flute of the Pied Puppy
Piper, and Woody pretended to hypnotized to help with the item's sale to
two unsuspecting and gullible dogcatchers. Nack congratulated Woody on
its performance as they sped off after the sale (however, given the
flute really did captivate dogs, it was unlikely Woody was acting).
