History:
(Deadpool Team-Up II#891 (fb)) - The man who would become known as Mister Y was a martial arts champion who'd never been beaten. Rich, handsome and brass he didn't think twice about any opponent who faced him. But during a Machido Open event he was challenged by the highly skilled Mister X.
(Deadpool Team-Up II#891 (fb) - BTS) - During his match against Mister X, the killer wanted to "play with his food" instead of killing him. As such Mister X cut off his legs, his right arm, several fingers, ripped out his vocal cord and tore off his eyelids. A fate which was worse than death. Determined to one day exact his revenge he chose the moniker Mister Y for himself.
(Deadpool Team-Up II#891 - BTS) - Mister Y hired the mercenary Deadpool (Wade Wilson) to assassinate the highly skilled killer Mister X, who was staying in Madripoor. Deadpool subsequently located his intended target at the Princess Bar, where Mister X was accompanied by his bodyguard Blok. Deadpool's attempt to fulfill Mister Y's contract resulted in a violent confrontation with Mister X, during which Deadpool lost both of his arms. Following the battle, Deadpool revealed that Mister Y had hired him to kill Mister X.
(Deadpool Team-Up II#891) - From his apartment, Mister Y watched footage of Deadpool's failed assassination attempt when the real Mister X suddenly appeared with swords in hand. Although unrevealed, X presumably killed Mister Y.

Deadpool Team-Up is a wonderfully entertaining series, with each issue pairing the Merc with a Mouth with different characters from across the Marvel Universe, often resulting in hilarious and unexpected situations. The series doesn't take itself too seriously, making it a particularly fun read. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for some lighthearted Marvel entertainment.
