He was presumably highly in gardening, notably in hydroponics.

History:

(Cyberspace 3000#1 / Cyberspace 3000#7 (fb) - BTS) - The enigmatic Dreamscaper Gamble caused the computer/starship Sol III to pass through a  wormhole that appeared suddenly, destroying a significant portion of the ship (the entire "left bell") and slaying 12% of its passengers.

(Cyberspace 3000#1) - Discovering the damage to Sol III, Lotin reported the emergency to Chief Yan Onanwro, noting that the entire left bell had been sheared off.

(Cyberspace 3000#1 - BTS) - The portion of the ship "cauterized" by the wormhole became a space-time-dimensional portal to which members of the insectoid Trilexia race who dwelled on Sol III were drawn.

(Cyberspace 3000#1) - As the Trilexia gathered around the portal, the curious Lotin watched from from a distance, peering out behind a wall.

However, one of the Trilexia detected Lotin, sneaked up behind him, and then stabbed him through the chest with a pair of its pointed pincers.

With one of their nature having been previously rebuffed upon touching the portal, they further tested the portal's nature by hurling Lotin's apparent corpse through the portal.

Seeing no obvious detrimental effect on dead tissue, one of the Trilexia passed through the portal itself.

Comments: Created by Gary Russell and Steve Tappin under the Marvel UK imprint.

Multiple Trilexia later passed through the portal and ended up in the past of Earth-616.
However, I don't think the series made a whole lot of sense or had a clear resolution of what the Trilexia were trying to do.
You can check out the Sol III profile for now.

A cat-man farmer from a future timeline in outer space...reminds me a little of Oedi from Jim Starlin's Dreadstar series.

Thanks to Loki for recommending this character to profile.
