History:
(Police Badge #479 I#5/3) - Mike Logan was riding in police squad car #11 with his partner Larry Crandall when they received word over their radio of a $10,000 bank robbery at the City Trust Company on Pine Street. Mike drove the car and as they arrived, they were told by a passerby that the robber fled in a sedan and was still within sight, as the car had trouble starting. Mike and Larry pursued the sedan down the street, sending a description back to their station as they chased it.
Finally, the spooked robber drove his sedan into a lamppost and fled on foot. Larry exited the car to continue the pursuit. Mike helped cordon off the surrounding streets with other policemen and Larry chased the robber straight into Mike's arms. When the robber tried to flee, Larry shot the gun from his arms and Mike moved in to help Larry arrest him. Two of their fellow officers observed that they'd caught the robber within an hour of his robbery.
