History:
(Nightstalkers#12 (fb) - BTS) - Michele's brother was in a prison in
Nebraska, but she wasn't allowed by the authorities to speak to him
anymore and soon there was a news blackout at the prison. The last time
she heard from her brother was in a letter in which he said strange
things and she did hear rumors about an execution that had gone wrong.
She needed help and Jonas Bruckman directed her to Borderline
Investigative Services, who had done security work for him, because they
were experts in the weird.
(Nightstalkers#12) - Michele went with her dog King to the office of Borderline Investigative Services in Boston and tried to hire them to look into what was going on in the prison, but they were not willing to take the job because it didn't seem up their ally. She tried to explain the situation further and told Drake and King that she had already arranged transportation for them, but Blade entered the office and reiterated that they would not take the job. Drake led her to the waiting room while he looked into the prison and found out that there actually seemed to be something supernatural going on with weird energy fields and erratic lights seen at the prison. Drake asked her about the rumors she had heard and she told him about the execution that had gone wrong and the priest that had made it out of the prison and had talked crazy things about the dead man's eyes and someone called Lilith. The Nightstalkers finally agreed to take the job upon hearing that Lilith was somehow involved.

We never saw the Nightstalkers return to Michele to tell her the results of their investigation, but they found most of the prisoners either mad or dead. No clue which one it was for her brother and I am not even sure they were able to find out between fighting Lilith's grandkid Short Circuit, temporarily getting transported to Earth-931113 and going to New York City to get involved in the Siege of Darkness crossover.

King was Michele's dog. She took him to the offices of Borderline Investigative Services in Boston and he got scared by the vampire Hannibal King. Michele had to tell King to heel and he laid down, but was still shaking in fear. King waited outside the office with Michele until Blade, King and Drake decided to take the job offered to them by Michele. --Nightstalkers#14 Note: I am not an expert on dogs, but he looks like a Rottweiler to me. |
