Powers/Abilities: Sonya Kadarik was a werewolf; she had the ability to change from her human form to the shape of a wolf seemingly without any restriction (ie, she was not limited to transformations on nights of the full moon). Although her clothing seemed to be damaged at the time of her transformations into a wolf, when she reverted to human form her clothing would reappear, intact.

History:
(Marvel Tales I#93 (fb) - BTS) - Sonya was a werewolf who married innkeeper Varno Kadarik. Sonya used Varno's inn as a meeting place for her fellow werewolves. The room occupied by Sonya's fellow werewolves came to be considered haunted by the inn's guests. Varno locked up the "haunted" room but the werewolves evidently continued to stay there.
(Marvel Tales I#93 (fb)) - On October 9, 1945, Sonya saw the writer Norman Raine arrive at the inn and asked about the supposed haunted room, explaining that he wanted to research a book about ghosts and ghost legends of Europe. Varno was relucant to give him the room, but Sonya told Varno he was being superstitious and convinced him to rent the room to Raine.
That night, Sonya transformed into a wolf and went past the window of Norman's room, then transformed back into her human form. Norman saw her from a distance and didn't recognize her. Hours later, Sonya left Varno to perform her chores and returned to Norman's window, claiming she had accidentally locked herself out of the inn. Norman let her back into the inn and let her into his room. Transforming back into her wolf form, Sonya killed Norman.
(Marvel Tales I#93) - On October 10, 1945, Varno found Norman's body and telephoned the police. As he spoke to the police over the phone, Varno read the notes Norman had made the previous evening. When he reached the end of Norman's notes, Varno realized Sonya was a werewolf and had killed Norman. Just then, Sonya appeared before Varno and confirmed everything he'd read was true; transforming back into a werewolf, Sonya killed her husband.

Varno Kadarik was Sonya's husband and owned a hotel in Cznaranak, Hungary. Varno was unaware Sonya was a werewolf and was using his inn as a meeting place for her kind. When his guests complained the room the werewolves stayed in was "haunted," Varno locked it up. When writer Norman Raine came to stay at the haunted room Varno permitted him to stay there but in the morning found Norman dead. Varno telephoned the police and read to them from the notes Norman had left behind. As he reached the end of Norman's notes, Varno realized his wife Sonya was a werewolf and had killed Norman. Just then, Sonya confronted Varno and confirmed his discovery as she became a wolf and killed him.

Norman Raine was an American writer who came to Cznaranak, Hungary to research a book on ghosts and ghost legends of Europe. Arriving at Varno Kadarik's inn, Norman specifically requested to spend the night in a room at the inn which was said to be haunted. Raine brought a gun with him in case of trouble but was unprepared for the supernatural menace he did encounter - that of werewolves. During the night, Norman saw Sonya in her wolf form outside his window, then saw her resume her human form. Later, one of Sonya's fellow werewolves tried to enter the room but Norman kept him out. Norman recorded everything he saw in his notes. After midnight, Sonya called to Norman from the yard, claiming she'd been locked out of the inn while performing her chores. Norman let her back inside and she entered his room, then transformed into a wolf and killed him. Varno found Norman's body in the morning along with notes but realized too late that Sonya was responsible.
