Powers/Abilities: Juggernaut possessed superhuman strength (Class 100) and durability. All but invulnerable to normal force, he was still however vulnerable to magic and/or the Darkforce. Though a Madrox dupe, he couldn't himself duplicate.

History:
(Multiple Man#3 (fb) - BTS) - The history of Earth-616 and Earth-18928 was apparently identical until the present day; in both timelines James Madrox "prime" locked away in a hidden vault a duplicate of himself that had proven to be a distillation of his most evil impulses. As a result this duplicate ended up being the sole surviving version of Madrox when a Terrigen Mist outbreak slew all the other versions including Jamie Prime. Unable to duplicate, the final Jamie was eventually discovered and released by the X-Men. On Earth-18298 the X-Men scientist Beast, unaware that he was evil, restored Jamie's ability to clone himself; this was the juncture where the realities diverged, as on Earth-616 a time-traveling future version of the evil Jamie, now reformed, came back in time, stopped Beast restoring the duplication power and absorbed evil Jamie.

   However on Earth-18298 without this intervention evil Jamie went on to conquer the world, slaying almost all opposition. Since every duplicate varied slightly from the others, some of the now Emperor Madrox's clones proved to be good and ultimately formed a resistance, working under Jamie Prime's widow Layla and son Davey.

   At some juncture, presumably after Cain Marko was slain and the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak was seized, one of Emperor Madrox's loyal duplicates gained the power of the Juggernaut.

(Multiple Man#3) - Fifteen years after Beast unwittingly initiated Emperor Madrox's rise to power the "good" version of Jamie from post-divergence Earth-616 was brought to Earth-18298 by the Resistance. However, this led the Emperor's shock troops (all Madrox clones) to locate the Resistance's base and attack it. Encountering heavy resistance thanks to some of the Resistance Madroxes having gained various superpowers (via time travel trips to other alternate Earths), the "Battering Ram" (Juggernaut Madrox) was sent in. He smashed through the fortified door of the Resistance HQ without effort, knocking down the Resistance member "Madlock" in the process, then killed him by stamping on the unfortunate man as he ran further into the base. However, though having his spine crushed slew this Madrox, it didn't finish off the technorganic Warlock he was merged with, and so "Juggernaut's" victim rose up and began blasting shock troopers. Meanwhile "Juggernaut" charged a Madrox dupe who had become a Master of the Mystic Arts and wore the garbs of the Darkforce user Cloak. "Cloak" Madrox unleashed a multitude of tiny Madrox-shaped magical sprites (see comments) that swarmed "Juggernaut" and apparently entered his mouth to eat him from the inside out, as moments later "Juggernaut" Madrox collapsed apparently dead, his body reduced to a skeleton inside his armor.

   Madrox's eyes are officially meant to be blue, but the Multiple Man series consistently shows all the Madrox dupes, including Juggernaut, to have brown eyes. I suspect this was because the colorist didn't know the official color, rather than a deliberate choice to change the character's eye color.

   We're never actually told if this version of Madrox was called Juggernaut. He's only called "the Battering Ram" (capitals mine, and not confirmed) which might be a codename or might just be a description. Nor are we told for sure the source of his powers. Given his appearance, and the fact that we see Emperor Madrox has trophies taken from fallen heroes and villains, it's very likely that this guy did just get his hands of Cyttorak's Gem and is called Juggernaut, but it's not a certainty.

   The Multiple Man miniseries has a LOT of time travel shenanigans going on. That, combined with the fact that various versions of Jamie Madrox make up the majority of the cast and none of them (barring Emperor Madrox) have confirmed names other than all being Jamie Madrox, makes it very confusing to try and summarize in an understandable fashion. So, in order to hopefully make it easier to understand, here's a brief breakdown on who is who in the above affiliations, enemies and history listings:

• Emperor Madrox - the evil version of Madrox that became the new Prime, the only one (it seems) able to duplicate
• "past" Madrox - the evil version of Madrox before he got his duplication powers restored merged with a slightly older, reformed version of Emperor Madrox, which reformed this version much earlier and also apparently removed his duplication powers again
• "Juggernaut" Madrox - the subject of this profile and perhaps not actually called Juggernaut, as discussed above

The next five Resistance member dupes appear as two versions of themselves thanks to time travel, but are only listed once apiece in the enemies section. The original versions of them are all identical to normal Madrox dupes, but in the other timelines they gain unique abilities (but not official codenames, frustratingly). Each is sent to an alternate reality during the shock troop attack on the Resistance base, so they are all present when Juggernaut attacks. Because of time travel, the powered versions of them return to their native timeline before the originals leave, and so are also (mostly) present when Juggernaut attacks. These are:

• "bartender" Madrox - sent to find a version of Iron Man, he found himself on the relaxed Earth-94244, but couldn't find his target, so he became a bartender for a while before returning to Earth-616. The only dupe not to gain new powers, his older self missed the battle against the shock troops (and indeed all the other fights), making him the last dupe standing, and for a while the new Jamie Prime of Earth-616
  
• "Cloak" Madrox - sent to get magical help, he ended up on Earth-39234, where Doctor Stark was Sorcerer Supreme. This Madrox became his disciple, became a master of the mystic arts, and eventually donned the late Cloak's apparel before returning to his original timeline. Both versions of him were present for the fight with Juggernaut, and he slew Juggernaut before being killed himself. He's not given a codename, so he could as easily be "Doctor Madrox" as "Cloak" Madrox.
  
• "Deadpool 2099" - sent to get Wolverine, he ended up in Earth-928's A.D.2099, where he encountered the Freakshow mutant team who forcibly put him the Weapon Plus program. He donned a Deadpool costume, hence my identifying him as Deadpool 2099 in the absence of a more official designation. Both versions of him were present for the fight with the Juggernaut.
• "Hulk" Madrox - sent to get the Avengers, he ended up on Earth-807128 ("Old Man" Logan's reality) where drinking gamma-irradiated water turned him into "a" Hulk. Only his younger, pre-Hulk version was present when Juggernaut attacked the Resistance base, as the Hulk version had already been slain.
  
• "Madlock" - sent to get the X-Men, he ended up in Earth-4935 circa the 40th century A.D. where he teamed up with Clan Askani to fight Apocalypse, later merging with the Technarch alien Warlock to become a techno-organic being. Though he looks a lot like Cable thanks to having similar 40th century clothing and weapons and looking partially mechanical, he's definitely not codenamed Cable since we see him shouting during battle "For Askani! For Cable!" When Doug Ramsey used to merged with Warlock he was called Douglock, so I'm going with this Madrox/Warlock hybrid being Madlock. Both his versions were present for the attack on the Resistance base.
  

   This profile was completed on 08/03/2026, but its publication was delayed as it was intended for the Appendix 25^th anniversary's celebratory event to represent Madrox the Multiple Man.
