Powers/Abilities: A giant, Juggerduck almost certainly possessed immense strength (likely lifting 100 tons or greater) and durability. He was allegedly "ducking unstoppable."

    However, he was nonetheless easily destroyed by the power of Galactus.

(Cosmic Ghost Rider#3 (fb) - BTS) - Obtaining the Gem of Cytorrak under unrevealed circumstances, Howard was transformed into the immensely powerful Juggerduck.

(Cosmic Ghost Rider#1-4 (fb) - BTS) - After the Cosmic Ghost Rider (Frank Castle) resolved to raise the toddler Thanos to try to teach him to be a better person, Thanos grew to rule Earth, granting others the chance to live in peace, but any who opposed him were condemned to prison camps.

    Juggerduck was one of numerous beings for joined Cable's Guardians of the Galaxy, and he was among the first group -- which included Captain Marvel, Iron Groot and Jubilee -- who traveled back to the past soon after Castle had taken Thanos from his crib on Titan.

(Cosmic Ghost Rider#2) - Juggerduck was with the Guardians of the Galaxy when they arrived on Markus Centauri and confronted Cosmic Ghost Rider, who had traveled there with young Thanos to meet with Galactus.

(Cosmic Ghost Rider#3) - Seeking to teach Thanos peaceful solutions, Castle fled with him on his motorcycle, and the Guardians pursued him. Eventually, Captain Marvel dropped Castle with her shield, after which Cable explained why they had come from the future to stop him and demanded Castle give them the baby. Refusing, Castle insisted that he was going to raise the kid right and change the future, but Captain Marvel argued that the fact that they were still there meant that nothing had changed. Uncaring, Castle advised them that they had forgotten about "the giant purple dude," after which Galactus -- seeking to defend Castle, his former herald from another reality -- unleashed a blast that destroyed all of the Guardians but Cable.

(Cosmic Ghost Rider#3 - BTS) - Cable repeatedly returned with more Guardians (after initially temporarily dispatching Galactus by shrinking him with Pym particles and launching him into space), but Cosmic Ghost Rider repeatedly slaughtered them. When they finally threatened to overwhelm Castle, the young Thanos apparently destroyed them.

Earth-18138 Cable brought Captain Marvel (Captain America's shield-wielding Kamala Khan), Iron Groot (Rocket piloting a mech-suit composed of Groot), Jubilee, Juggerduck (Howard possessing the Gem of Cyttorak) and hundreds of others back in time against Cosmic Ghost Rider (Frank Castle) to prevent his raising of infant Thanos because it made Thanos even worse. All brought back were slain by Cosmic Ghost Rider, Galactus, and/or Thanos. Cosmic Ghost Rider #3 (2018)

    We don't know anything about Howard's origins beyond what is listed in the first line of the history. He may have traveled from another reality or another planet to Earth. His history may be virtually identical to dramatically different from Howard the Duck who took up residence on Earth-616.

   I did use the Marvel Database as the starting point to identify the numerous Guardians of the Galaxy-18138 characters. I definitely would have missed some characters on the peripheries, like Spider-Man and Deadpool, but there were a few I could not verify, and I listed them as so

    This profile was completed 05/13/2026, but its publication was delayed as it was intended for the Appendix 25th anniversary 's celebratory event.
    Thanks to Loki for suggesting the Guardians of the Galaxy-18138 to represent Cosmic Ghost Rider for the event...I took an easier option, but I can't turn down a Howard the Duck opportunity!
