History:
(Fortnite Battle Royale video game - Chapter 2: Season 6 (fb) - BTS) - Jonesy the First was the first known clone (known as a Snapshot) of Imagined Order Agent John Jones created by the Island during the organization's experimentation with the Zero Point.

(Fortnite Battle Royale video game - Chapter 3: Season 2 (fb) - BTS) - Left trapped inside the Loop on the Island, Jonesy was forced to participate in an endless battle royale. Over time, this constant fight for survival honed his combat and building skills. It also changed his personality: Jonesy became obsessed with fighting and began to see himself as better than everyone else, including the original John Jones.

(Fortnite X Marvel - Nexus War: Thor#1) - When Thor of Earth-616 was displaced to Reality Zero, Jonesy, alongside Raven, Lynx Kassandra, and Peely, engaged him in combat. Despite his eagerness to battle, Jonesy proved no match for the God of Thunder and was quickly defeated by him.

(Fortnite Battle Royale video game - Chapter 2: Season 6) - The Looper's quest to find the current whereabouts of the original Agent Jones and fix the Spire led them to Jonesy the First. Upon meeting Jonesy, the Looper explained their predicament, and Jonesy the First agreed to help them if they proved their strength. After a short duel, the Looper won; Jonesy warned the Looper not to let the Spire corrupt someone powerful, or Jonesy wouldn't stand a chance. After noticing that Raz survived his encounter with the Spire, Jonesy believed he must have found something and tasked the Looper with gathering information on Raz. Once the Looper learned Raz had found a Spire Artifact, Jonesy contacted them and urged them to prepare for a fight.

(Fortnite Battle Royale video game - Chapter 3: Season 1) - Jonesy the First joined up with other John Jones Snapshots to form the Joneses, a rebel faction and independent township made to oppose Imagined Order's use of the Loop to control the Island. While the Joneses were initially hesitant to work with the Seven, the primary opposition group to Imagined Order, the Looper helped form an alliance between the two.

(Fortnite Battle Royale video game - Chapter 3: Season 2) - Jonesy the First joined the Seven's new Resistance, and he led the Joneses in the war against the Imagined Order.

(Fortnite Battle Royale video game - Chapter 3: Season 3) - After the war ended, the lack of conflict made Jonesy the First feel aimless as he searched for a new pastime.

(Fortnite Battle Royale video game - Chapter 3: Season 4) - When the Herald came to the Island and slowly began covering it in Chrome, Jonesy the First led the other Joneses in building Fort Jonesy to protect themselves from being Chrome-ified. Following the fort's completion, the Agent Jones took over as the group's leader tasked his doppelgangers to monitor the Herald. Later, during the Fracture, the Herald destroyed Fort Jonesy, but it unclear if Jonesy the First was killed in the attack. Regardless, his current whereabouts are unrevealed.

Fortnite: Battle Royale is a video game in which characters and objects from various realities were transported onto the Island located at the Zero Point in theReality Zero and became trapped in a time loop, escaping which created independent variations of the character, or "Snapshots." Those trapped in the Loop are known as "Loopers." This initial concept later evolved and changed over the course of the game's story. As the player can select from a countless selection of characters to play as, the player character is simply referred to as "The Looper" in the game's lore.

Fortnite: Battle Royale includes official crossovers with literally hundreds of other properties, though most -- such as Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, and Harry Potter -- only introduce new playable character models with no effect on the main story. Narrative-driven crossovers include DC Comics, Star Wars, and The Simpsons, with Marvel being by far the most prominent. The Fortnite events "Nexus War" and "Zero War" have explicitly featured Marvel characters from Reality-616 (as depicted in thetie-in comics Fortnite X Marvel - Nexus War: Thor and Fortnite X Marvel: Zero War) and were followed by the "Absolute Doom" storyline. Fortnite also features characters from Marvel games, movies, and shows: for example, the version of Gwen Stacy known to Jonesy comes from the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse films. Fortnite uses a numeric system for its connected realities, in which the Prime Marvel Universe is labeled as "Reality:616," but other numbers overlap with existing Core Continuum designations.

Jonesy was originally designed for Fortnite: Save the World, a survival game set on contemporary Earth, before his design was reused for one of the Recruits (a generic randomized skin available to all players) in the game's spin-off Battle Royale mode. While present in Battle Royale from the start as a Recruit, Jonesy the First was not established a unique character until Chapter2: Season 4 of the game.

In the Fortnite Battle Royale version of the scene where Thor meets the Loopers for the first time, Jonesy the Secondest (a different Snapshot of John Jones) takes the place of Jonesy the First. As this does create a continuity error between the game and Fortnite X Marvel - Nexus War: Thor#1, I've elected to ignore the game's version of events in this case for the sake of simplicity.
