History: (A + X I#3) - Princess Jayde was one of several members of African royalty who came to Wakanda for consideration as the new bride of Prince T'Challa, who had recently been divorced from Storm. Other women who came to see T'Challa included Princess Chinaza of Zanzibar and Princess Olufunmilayo of Mozambique.
T'Challa was not particularly interested in finding a new wife and took little interest in the affair, attending the event only due to his obligations. However, the event was suddenly broken up when a thunderstorm caused the open-air event to be spoiled by rain. T'Challa immediately realized Storm was responsible for spoiling the event, as she still had feelings for him.

In total there seemed to be five princesses being presented to T'Challa by his aide (see the uncropped image to the right here). There's no indication of who the names belong to or even if all five women were princesses (perhaps two were servants?). My guess is that T'Challa's aide started listing names from the far left and was interrupted by T'Challa before he could finish giving names. Probably only Aaron or Ferry could clear this up.
In the real world, Zanzibar, Madagascar and Mozambique no longer have monarchies, although there must still be those who trace their lineage to the defunct monarchies. This, of course, is one of many aspects which sets Wakanda apart from the rest of Africa (real Africa and Earth-616 Africa) - that their monarchy remained intact.

Princess Chinaza is a somewhat short woman of royal blood from the island of Zanzibar. She was one of several single African royals who presented themselves to Prince T'Challa in Wakanda in the hopes of being chosen as his new bride. However, the event ended prematurely when Storm caused a thunderstorm to break it up.
Princess Chinaza had decorative scars on her face and shoulders.

Princess Olufunmilayo is a woman of royal blood from Mozambique. She was one of several single African royals who presented themselves to Prince T'Challa in Wakanda in the hopes of being chosen as his new bride. However, the event ended prematurely when Storm caused a thunderstorm to break it up.
Princess Olufunmilayo has a considerable amount of tattoos on her stomach, chest, arms and face.
