History:

(Patty Powers#7/1 (fb) - BTS) - Pub Jaxon was the head publicist at Cosmic Studios and major movie magazine "Cinescopic Secrets" had lined up to interview the Studios' major star Patty Powers at her home. Jaxon wanted to ensure that Powers' home looked glamorous for the magazine.

(Patty Powers#7/1) - Jaxon interrupted a movie shoot to have Powers and her beau Jeremy Dunn take him to their house. He deplored the folksy neighborhood and was shocked that her house was smaller than he expected with no backyard pool and no servants. Even her plain black landline phone disappointed him. He called the Studios and ordered the set construction, design, staff and decorating departments immediately turn up to embellish her house and make it much grander. Jaxon coordinated many activities: servant staff were cast from Academy Award winners, the neighbor's property was negotiated so a the pool could be dug, the dazzling staircase from the "Gone With the Wind" movie was installed, glistening "uranium" bricks were used for a new show fireplace, and even a small orchestra was readied with an original score Jaxon had renown composer Irving Berlin write up. However, Powers was overwhelmed by the sudden changes and greeted the reporters and photographers the next morning from a newly bought caravan in the driveway.

Comments: Created by uncredited writer and Al Hartley.

I somehow doubt his first name was "Pub" but more likely a nickname to go with his job title, but then the movie industry characters' names in this series were quite literal at times.
