Powers/Abilities: Happy had an exceptional intellect for a boy approximately 1-year-old. He was well-read in philosophy, spoke perfect English, was evidently more brilliant than Albert Einstein in mathematics and physics and could perform complicated violin pieces. Happy always spoke in rhyme.

History:

(Kid Komics I#2/4) - Micheal "Happy" Daize was born an extraordinary baby who proved to have a genius intellect. He learned to play the violin and was considered to be better than Jascha Heifetz. He also compared scientific notes with Albert Einstein and proved smarter than he. While reading a book of philosophy by Friedrich Nietzche, Micheal wished he'd been born dumb like other babies. He went on to perform his violin at Carnegie Hall and took seven encores, including a performance of Niccolo Paganini's Caprice Opus One, Number 20. As his family went home, his mother reminded him his next day would be heavy as he had to rehearse a piece by Arturo Toscanini at 9:00 AM, see the nurse at 10:00 AM, address the faculty of Columbia University on the Apocrypha at 12:00 PM, and meet with his publishers about a book on the Fifth Dimension at 2:00 PM.

    Staring out his window, Happy gaze on a star and tried to cast a wish. Suddenly, a talking rabbit named Twinkle appeared at Happy's window and informed him he'd come to answer his wish. Happy told Twinkle he wanted to be like other babies. Twinkle wasn't certain he could do that, but suggested they visit Mr. Wuzzy for help.

    Twinkle led Happy out of his house and into the hollow of a tree, which led into an underground world where Mr. Ogre lived. They were spotted by the gremlins Nip and Tuck, who alerted Mr. Ogre to Twinkle and Happy's intrusion. Mr. Ogre confronted Twinkle and Happy. When Happy remarked how ugly Mr. Ogre was, this impressed Mr. Ogre and he invited Happy to jion his gang. Tired of being good, Happy decided to leave with him.

    Twinkle refused to let Happy join Mr. Ogre and brought a magic flower that Mr. Ogre couldn't bear to smell; Twinkle interrupted Mr. Ogre while he was trying to teach Happy how to use a gun. Twinkle and Happy fled Mr. Ogre's home, evading Nip and Tuck. They resolved they'd continue their quest to find Mr. Wuzzy so Happy could finally be happy.
