Pies are exactly what they claim to be: fruit fried into a tender,
flaky crust for the nourishment and enjoyment of others. The Fruit Pies
do not have any extraordinary qualities, except for perhaps, the real
fruit taste and the big delight in every bite!
History:
(Marvel Comics I#1000 / 48 (fb) - BTS) - Ghostess Fruit Pies were
commercially available fried desserts distributed by the Ghostess
company and available in three flavors: cherry, apple and peach.
(Marvel Comics I#1000 / 48) - While waxing intellectual about his
existence and why he had been transported to Earth, Howard the Duck
ventured out onto a cliff in hopes of receiving a sign for some sort of
reasoning, only to be hit in the head by an apple Ghostess Fruit Pie
falling from the sky. Having fallen from such a high height, the
Ghostess Fruit Pie knocked Howard unconscious.
