Powers/Abilities: Gavin Baxter was presumably a capable fighter and trained Mys-Tech field operative. Based on his build, he was of above average strength. He presumably had access to a wide range of armaments and equipment in Mys-Tech's armory.

History:
(Plasmer#2) - Gavin Baxter
was the operations chief for Mys-Tech, in charge of arranging for
operatives to undertake missions.
Shortly after scientist Oonagh Mullarkey
split herself into her "good" and "bad" personalities, Baxter
unwittingly drew the latter version's ire. Unaware of her new status,
Baxter was present when Mullarkey was performing scans of London. When
the scientist announced that she had located a signal she was interested
in and announced her intention to take a team to investigate, Baxter
reminded her that as operations chief any such teams would only be sent
out under his control. Any protest Mullarkey might have made was quieted
before it could be aired when Algernon Crowe, one of Mys-Tech's leaders,
affirmed Baxter's call. Mullarkey feigned acquiescence, but while Baxter
was alone prepping for the mission she approached him and provided him a
"bodyscreen unit" which she claimed would protect him from any weird
energies and record what he discovered. Used to Mullarkey's formerly
helpful personality, Baxter accepted this without question, but within
seconds the device began to painfully kill him. As he gasped his last
breath Mullarkey informed the unfortunate man that the device was really
a natural death simulator.
A few minutes later Baxter's corpse was
discovered by another Mys-Tech agent, who unceremoniously dragged the
body to Crowe's location and informed him that Baxter had died from a
stroke.

Estimating his height: As the top image
shows, he's about a head taller than Oonagh Mullarkey. In
Motormouth#4/2's final panel we get a good height comparison between
Oonagh and Killpower, who has an officially established height of 6'9";
she's only just up to about the bottom of his pectorals. Using standard
human body proportions, this would make her around 5' tall, and in turn
that would make Baxter around 5'9".
This profile was completed on 07/19/2026, but its publication was delayed as it was intended for the Appendix 25th anniversary's celebratory event to represent Plasmer.
