Powers/Abilities/Functions: The Gauntlets of Defying were formed from the hide of a Graxous, a creature resistant to magic. Consequently, the Gauntlets of Defying have extreme resistance to magic and magical effects
History:
(Dr. Strange VII#2) - After discovering the Wrecker had obtained a new magical crowbar more powerful than the original, Dr. Strange went to his Sanctum Machina and formed the Gauntlets of Defying from the hide of a Graxous. When he next encountered the Wrecker and discovered the Wrecker's ally Thunderball was similarly empowered with a new weapon, Dr. Strange donned the Gauntlets of Defying and grabbed, both weapons away from their wielders as the energies surrounding them couldn't harm him through the gauntlets. Dr. Strange then cast a spell to shatter both of the villains' weapons.
