History:
(
2099 Unlimited#10/3 (fb) - BTS) - Pascal designed the Gargantuoid as an urban renewal scheme

(2099 Unlimited#10/3) - Presumably piloted (and voiced) by Pascal, the Gargantuoid traveled to the Locash District, warning its inhabitants to leave their homes and take the meager belongings to the Alchemax Central Dormitory in Sector 112-A within the next 48 hours. It further advised the people that the area had been designated for the Alchemax Urban Reclamation Project. "Evacuate, lest I, the Gargantuoid, visit more terror upon you all!" Crushing a chimney, it informed the residents that it would demolish this sector, including its residents, if complete compliance was not forthcoming.

From their apartment, the R-Gang members heard this. Having suffered the loss of previous residences due to similar Alchemax projects, Slacker ran down to the streets and told it that it was sick of "you Alchemax monsters kicking us around." The Gargantuoid picked Slacker up between two its fingers and, calling him a rebel without a clue, took him away, noting that an example would have to be made. The Gargantuoid warned the people that it would not suffer the insurgency of "puny indigents," and that they should make haste in gathering their possessions.

(2099 Unlimited#10/3 (fb) - BTS) - Midjit followed the Gargantuoid's path of destruction, after which the rest of the group met at their favorite retailers at dusk.

(2099 Unlimited#10/3 - BTS) - Tasha and Nedick convinced Merchant to provide them with technology and to accompany them on their mission to rescue.

(2099 Unlimited#10/3) - As Midjit, Nedick, Tasha and Merchant watched from a distance, they observed the Gargantuoid standing immobile, with Slacker stuck on the head like a hood ornament and their old enemy Pascal entering the foot unit. Pascal asked Mr. Yorick what he thought of his new urban renewal scheme, and Yorick advised him that there would be serious consequences "if this expensive doo-jigger of yours doesn't have those impecunious whelps out of Sector-113-H by noon tomorrow."gargantuoid-928-2099a-ramp2

Via a crane operated by Merchant, Midjit swung down, cut Slacker free and then taunted the Gargantuoid and Pascal as it headed to the top of ramp. As the Gargantuoid pursued them, Tasha and Nedick detonated the supports under a gas tank that then rolled down the ramp. Pascal was forced to use the Gargantuoid to stop the tank, locking its legs in place in the process.

Looking on the Gargantuoid pushing the tank up the ramp, Tasha noted that he looked like Sisyphus, and Nedick suggested that they call him "Wussyphus."

Pascal was forced to flee the Gargantuoid into a crowd of upset locals who blamed him for threatening their district.

I believe the spelling of the R-Gang member was "Midjit" in their first appearance, but it was "Midget" in this one.
