History:
(Incredible Hulk III#602/2 (fb)) - Norman Osborn released General John Ryker from prison and placed him in charge of the Origins Corporation, a company Osborn had bankrolled in order to commoditize superhuman abilities and make them available to the general public for the right price. As the director of H.A.M.M.E.R., Osborn had access to resources that had belonged to S.H.I.E.L.D., including samples taken from the Hulk's enemies the Abomination, Glob and Zzzax from when they were held in S.H.I.E.L.D. custody, which he gave the Origins Corporation. Osborn wanted Ryker to capture the new She-Hulk, Lyra and harvest her genetic material and use the samples he'd been provided to create operatives who could capture Lyra.
(Incredible Hulk III#603/2 (fb)) - General John Ryker rescued three women who had been sentenced to death and recruited them into a new version of his organization the Gamma Corps, dubbed "Gamma Corps: Black." With his allies in H.A.M.M.E.R., evidence of the women's executions was fabricated and Ryker had the Origins Corporation infuse each woman with genetic material from the samples Osborn had given them; the woman who received material from the Abomination (Emil Blonsky) became Aberration; the woman who received material from Zzzax became Axon; the woman who received material from the Glob became Morass. General Ryker addressed teh three of them, telling them they would serve the interests of the United States, likening the nation to a corporation: "Our stockholders are the people. Our product is truth. And freedom. You are America's marketing department. You will go forth, with your superior training, and righteous cause, and sell our product... by killing anybody who gets in our way!" The women vowed to obey Ryker's orders.
(Incredible Hulk III#601/2) - As the She-Hulk (Lyra) set out in an A.R.M.O.R. air vehicle with fellow agent Alex Erde to search for Jennifer Walters in Death Valley, California, Axon attacked their vessel and electrified it, causing it to crash; Erde was badly wounded in the crash. As all three Gamma Corps: Black operatives attacked Lyra at the crash site, Morass restrained Lyra while Axon electrocuted Erde to death. General Ryker radioed Gamma Corps: Black and ordered them to bring Lyra back to their base so he could harvest Lyra's genetic material to create new operatives.
(Incredible Hulk III#602/2) - Still restrained by Morass, Lyra vowed all three of the Corpsmen were dead women. The trio summoned a dropship to transport them away with Lyra but Lyra used meditation to increase her strength then burst free of Morass, then destroy the dropship. The Corpsmen split up to find Lyra but when Morass found her inside an alkali salt flat, she made the mistake of trying to reconstitute her body from the alkali salt; this made Morass extremely brittle and Lyra shattered her into pieces. On Morass' torso, Lyra wrote "dead women" as a warning to Aberration and Axon.
(Incredible Hulk III#603/2) - Axon and Aberration were pursued through Death Valley by Lyra, who kept herself far enough away from them that they couldn't attack her. Axon and Aberration realized she was trying to wear them out before killing them. Axon started to turn against Aberration, so desperate for electrical energy that she started to assault her teammate. However, the duo reached the small town of Badwater and went on a rampage there as Axon killed people for their electrical energy and Aberration assaulted men at a convenience store. The started to threaten in the town, calling out to Lyra that they'd kill more people unless she surrendered. Lyra appeared and replied they might as well let their hostages go since they wouldn't shield them from her.
(Incredible Hulk III#604/2) - Lyra fought Aberration and Axon but Aberration's body began to be overwhelmed by tumors as the Origins Corporations process was unstable. Lyra stabbed Aberration through the head with a lamp post, killing her. Axon then threatened to use her electrical powers to kill everyone in Badwater unless Lyra let her feast on her electrical energy.
(Incredible Hulk III#605/2) - Lyra noted Axon had been ordered to bring her in alive so Origins Corporation could harvest her genetic material but Axon declared she didn't care about her orders, thinking the gamma radiation in Lyra's body would help stabilize her mind. Lyra permitted Axon to take some of her energy, causing her to revert from her She-Hulk form to her normal human body. Lyra then deliberately inflamed Axon's temper because Lyra would grow weaker as she grew angrier; consequently, Axon's rising temper caused her to grow progessively weaker. Because Axon had failed to secure Lyra and had been seen by a large number of civilians, Axon's superiors activated General Ryker's "Flux Protocols"; an aircraft that had been monitoring Gamma Corps: Black released a blast of energy that completely destroyed Axon. General Ryker resolved he'd have to find new operatives to take their place.

Morass' origin wasn't given but it can be assumed she was a disgraced former soldier like her cohorts.
Aberration's back story was obviously inspired by the real-life Lynndie England, one of the soldiers at Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq; England similarly complained that she had been made a scapegoat while her superiors were overlooked in the resulting scandal.

Prviate Rana Philips served in the 723rd Military Police Company of the U.S. Army. She was assigned to Abu Fasaud Central Prison in Aquiria and participated in the systematic abuse of prisoners there. She was court martialed for her actions but claimed at the court martial that the abuse was organized and ordered by her superior officer and fiance, Sgt. Jeffrey Ivey, who had told her to kep his role in the scandal quiet. However, as Rana had killed Ivey, there was no corroboration for her story. Rana was convicted of murder, conspiracy, maltreating detainees and committing an indecent act. She was sentenced to death but spared by General John Ryker, who arranged for H.A.M.M.E.R. to fabricate evidence of her death so she could join his team Gamma Corps: Black. Rana received genetic material harvested from the Hulk's foe Abomination (Emil Blonsky) and became Aberration. Aberration assaulted A.R.M.O.R. agent Lyra in an attempt to capture her for genetic harvesting by the Origins Corporation but Lyra outfought them. As the Origins process had been unstable, Aberration started to grow enormous tumors that overwhelmed her body. Lyra finally killed her by stabbing her through the head with a lamp post.
Like the Abomination, Aberration had superhuman strength.

Staff Sergeant Erin Cicero served in the 110th Airborne Division of the U.S. Army. While on a peacekeeping operation in Symkaria, Erin's unit were ambushed by insurgents and she was the only survivor. She was shipped back to Fort Leigh but was suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder. One night she mistook her own family for the insurgents who killed her comrades and murdered her husband and two children. When Military Police responded to reports of a fight at her residence she opened fire on them, killing three MPs. Erin held the Military Police at bay for six hours before finally being subdued and apprehanded. Examining her home, they discovered Erin's deceased family. Erin's court martial convicted her of six counts of murder and she was sentenced to death. General John Ryker arranged for H.A.M.M.E.R. to fabricate evidence of her death so she could join his team Gamma Corps: Black. Erin received genetic material harvested from the Hulk's foe Zzzax and she became Axon. Like Zzzax, she was drawn to electrical energy to sustain her and was willing to murder humans to draw their electrical energy into herself. Axon was particularly ruthless; when sent after A.R.M.O.R. agent Lyra, Axon slew her comrade Alex Erde. Axon finally demanded Lyra permit her to feed one some of her electrical energy, thinking the gamma radiation would stabilize her mental state but she learned the angrier Lyra became, the weaker she became and had thus passed on that limitation to Axon. Determining Axon had failed in her mission and been witnessed by too many civilians, Axon's superiors eliminated her remotely with a blast of energy that completely destroyed her body.
Like Zzzax, Axon could absorb electrical energy and release it from her body. She could also fly and render her form insubstantial so she couldn't be physically harmed.

Morass was a member of Gamma Corps: Black. Her powers were derived from the Hulk's foe the Glob. Like the others, she was a woman who had been sentenced to death but H.A.M.M.E.R. fabricated evidence of her execution. Morass joined Gamma Corps: Black in their attempt to capture Lyra in Death Valley for General Ryker. Morass was able to restrain Lyra by engulfing her with her body but Lyra used meditation to increase her strength and break free of Morass, then destroyed the team's dropship, stranding them in Death Valley. Morass fought Lyra inside an alkali salt flat but when Lyra damaged her body and she tried to reconstitute it from her surroundings, the salt rendered her body brittle; Lyra smashed Morass into pieces, killing her, then wrote "dead women" on Morass' torso as a warning to Aberration and Axon.
Morass had no mouth and evidently could not speak. Her body was comprised of soil-like materials and while in contact with soil she could reconstitute her body from the environment. She could reshape her body into other forms, such as forming her hand into a large square club. She could also reshape herself to surround another person's body as a means of restraining them.
