Powers/Abilities: Fuyumi Fujikawa has extensive power and influence via her position in Fujikawa Industries.
She may or may not have had individual enhanced abilities versus relying on technology from Fujikawa industries directly.
She apparently was able to cloak and decloak (or perhaps teleport/materialize/dematerialize) as needed, appearing amidst a conflict and then disappearing as desired.
She appeared to be able to react and/or move at superhuman speeds as she easily sidestepped an intended assault by Mattie Franklin (aka Spider-Women), with what appeared to be blur lines around her.
She speaks fluent Japanese and English, at least.
Her right eye is abnormal (see below), but nothing further is revealed about that.

History:
(Loners#1 (fb) - BTS) - Nekra and a number of super-villains -- including one that Ricochet hated -- donated their DNA to be made into Mutant Growth Hormone (MGH). This operation occurred at a Los Angeles-based facility.
(Loners#1 - BTS) - Investigating those who had harvested her tissue for MGH, Spider-Woman (Mattie Franklin) led Darkhawk (Chris Powell) to the LA MGH facility. Joined by Richochet (Johnny Gallo), who had followed them to watch out for them, they defeated Nekra and learned of the numerous super-villains who had been similarly donating their DNA. The three heroes resolved to take down the operation.
(Loners#2 - BTS) - Investigating another Fujikawa laboratory, Ricochet saw Namie/Red Ronin in one of the stasis tubes before being confronted by Delilah and then Hollow (the latter of whom had also been contained within one of the tubes).
(Loners#3 (fb) - BTS) - Hollow stabbed her talons through the arriving Julie Power's shoulder/upper chest region, and Richochet rushed her to the hospital.
(Loners#3 (fb) - BTS) - Feeling she had no other choice (presumably to avoid investigation), Fuyumi released all of her other "donors" from her lab.
(Loners#5 (fb) - BTS) - Namie was presumably among those released.
(Loners#6 (fb) - BTS) - Namie had limited memories of a smiling woman (see comments), who told her 'We'll meet again soon enough...'" and then "the lights went out."
(Loners#3 - BTS) - After Julie's surgery, the rest of the Loners --
Johnny Gallo, Mattie Franklin, Chris Powell, Michiko
"Mickey" Musashi, and Phil Urich -- encountered Hollow outside
the hospital.
(Loners#3) - Fuyumi Fujikawa (unidentified, but implied by the story to be the head of the operations at the Fujikawa laboratory), alongside Delilah and a number or armed agents, then apparently uncloaked, and she told Hollow that she had cost her a substantial amount of money and that she had always known Hollow was more trouble than she was worth. As Fuyumi reached for Hollow, Phil smacked her hand away and instructed Fuyumi not to touch her (Phil had apparently bonded with Hollow when she had approached and kissed him and then noted, "like.").
Signalling her guards, Fuyumi instructed Phil that it would be unwise to touch her again. She further noted that she knew who they all were and that they had become quite a thorn in her side, first with Nekra and then with being forced to release all of the other donors from her lab. She advised them that she would be cutting her losses by taking Hollow back. Phil tried to argue that she had the wrong team, but she assured him that a woman of her power and resources was rarely wrong and that perhaps she should keep better tabs on her friends' extracurricular activies.
Mattie called her a twisted witch for experimenting on / harvesting from innocent people, but Fuyumi countered that they just had differing perspectives, and that she saw profit instead of people and that she didn't let morals get in the way of her business. Threatening to kill her, Mattie charged at her, but Fuyumi easily sidestepped Mattie's charge, and Delilah apparently kicked her back. As Darkhawk blocked Fuyumi's men's gunfire, Mickey told him to stand down, and she then shouted for an end to the conflict. Speaking in Japanese, she asked Fuyumi to talk to her privately in their own language.
After a brief conversation, Fuyumi and Michiko bowed and parted peacefully. After Fuyumi advised her agents that they were finished, they apparently cloaked again and departed.
(Loners#3 - BTS) - Michiko told her teammates only that tshe had brought about an end to the conflict to avoid others getting hurt. Hollow went with Phil and stayed at his apartment.
(Loners#4 - BTS) - Finding an on-line listing of the Loners' meetings, Nekra tracked down and confronted the group in the church basement then threatened to kill them.
(Loners#5 - BTS) - Arriving at the Loners' meeting place, Namie took out Nekra. Namie shared her limited memories, including having seen the conflicts with Nekra and Hollow and the woman telling her they would meet again.
(Loners#6 (fb) - BTS / Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe A to Z#14: Loners) - Phil Urich apparently brokered a deal with Fuyumi Fujikawa to return Hollow to her in exchange for releasing Red Ronin/Namie.
(Loners#6 (fb) - BTS) - Fuyumi Fujikawa shared with Phil Urich that Namie was a cyborg patterned after Red Ronin, and she told him that she would allow the Loners to retain custody of the Red Ronin.
(Loners#6 (fb) - BTS) - Namie presumably was released sometime thereafter (Namie did not seem to possess memories of these events, so she noted that she must have escaped shortly thereafter).
(Loners#5) - Ricochet then recognized Namie as having been in one of the tubes as the the Fujikawa laboratory he had investigated. Recognizing him from that time, Namie noted that she could not remember what happened thereafter.
(Loners#6) - Before departing, Phil revealed Namie's origin as a cyborg created patterned on the giant Red Ronin robot and Ms. Fujikawa's agreement to let the Loners retain custody of her. Namie appeared to be shocked by this information, and she dropped to her knees.Comments: Created by C.B. Cebulski and Karl Moline.
It makes sense that if Stark International held the designs to Red Ronin that they could have easily fallen into Fujikawa's hands when Stark Enterprises merged with Fujikawa Industries following the apparent death of Iron Man (Tony Stark) against Onslaught. I don't think that was spelled out completely, but you can connect the dots.
She wasn't actually named in the
stories at all, except as "that Fujikawa woman" and "Miss Fujikawa" in
the story in Loners#6.
HOWEVER, she was named by Mickey Musashi (Turbo) as
Fuyumi Fujikawa and as the President of Fujikawa Industries in the
introductory page for #5.
In a question to C.B. Cebulski in 2008, he stated:
Her relationship to the rest of the family has
not been explained yet, but she at least controls and runs a part
of Fujikawa Enterprises, one that has continued working on the
Red Ronin project over the years, as we've seen. Hopefully we can flesh
this out more soon.
Also, as discussed by the handbook team's Jeph York,
"the
Loners mini confirms that the Fujikawa ring was the same group that
kidnapped Spider-Woman (Mattie Franklin) back in "Alias".
However, I have no idea if it was being *run* by Miss Fujikawa at the
time ... she could easily have taken over later. (IIRC, in
"Alias", all those kids had to do to get high was to dig out a piece
of Mattie's skin and smoke it. Eww.)"
Fuyumi Fujikawa previously had a sub-profile under Delilah, circa her 07/24/2009 profile.
This profile was completed 01/23/2022,
but its publication was delayed as it was intended for the Appendix 25th
anniversary 's celebratory event to represent the Loners' stories and
characters.
