Powers/Abilities: Fletcher was a talented albeit mad bio-engineer that had the knowledge to genetically alter herself and others to varying degrees. She mostly specialized in human-animal tissue engineering to create hybrids. Consent was a foreign concept to her and she often experimented on unwilling subjects.
It is unknown how much she was involved in the creation of the synthetic men and women, which Narn K had later specialized on.
She was a talented division director.

(Nocturnals#2 - BTS) - Fletcher and her board of directors controlled
Narn K.
(Nocturnals: Carnival of Beasts (fb) - BTS) - Fletcher had heard stories about Abyss Horror, the wife of Nicodemus and mother of Evening (presumably from Fane, who knew them from their homeworld).
(Nocturnals#4) - Fletcher contacted Mr. Fane, the director of security, and got angry with him because Komodo, another hybrid, had escaped. She didn't want to hear that he was another lost cause like Raccoon, who was one of a dozen escaped hybrids over the last three years. She considered the hybrids her property and wanted them back, including Raccoon. He promised that he would personally deliver the hybrids to her after dealing with Doc Horror, but she knew that his ambush of Horror had failed as well and didn't believe it would work the next time because Horror was not afraid of Fane.
(Nocturnals: Carnival of Beasts (fb) - BTS) - After the destruction of Narn K, Fletcher moved with the remains of her division to a mining camp. For the next three years they kept to themselves and continued their experiments, working on themselves and young runaways. They turned themselves and the children into animal/human hybrids. Fletcher personally modified her body six times, which took quiet a toll on her.
(Nocturnals: Carnival of Beasts - BTS) - Don Lupo Zampa told Doc Horror, who was looking for Mark V inhibitor to control an unstable mutation he was suffering from, that he had heard stories about some of the scientists from the Monster Shop living out in the woods. Don Lupo suggested that Doc Horror, who had raided the Monster Shop in the past for Mark V, to pay them a visit and buy or take the substance from them.
Polychrome (Polyanna Shale) was against Doc Horror's plan to invade the former Nark K scientists' camp, but his other allies, Firelion and Raccoon, had no problem going through with his plan.
(Nocturnals: Carnival of Beasts) - Doc Horror walked with his daughter and Gunwitch to the camp in the woods. Doc and Gunwitch entered with their guns drawn and quickly found some opposition in the form of a Paranthropus Gigantus, Buddha and several mutated scientists, including Dr. Sprenger. Doc Horror asked to see their boss Fletcher, but Buddha played dumb. Fletcher walked out to a surprised Doc Horror, who, despite never meeting her before, had a hard time believing her to Fletcher and not just another hybrid created by the Monster Shop. Fletcher assured him that she was the real deal and told him about what she and her fellow scientists had been up to since the Monster Shop's destruction. Fletcher wanted to know why Doc Horror was there and he asked for as much Mark V inhibitor as Fletcher was willing to sell and Fletcher sent Buddha to retrieve 8 liters of the substance. Evening liked the horns Fletcher had given to herself, but Fletcher was more interested in Evening's power to attract ectoplasmic entities and Horror's portable Lorentzian Wormhole. She planned to keep them at the camp and study them. She ordered Springer and Buddha to get rid of the zombie Gunwitch while keeping the Horrors unharmed. The Paranthropus Gigantus joined the fight against Doc Horror while Fletcher revealed that they had not just worked on themselves, but also runaways. Evening finally realized that Fletcher was crazy, but Fletcher claimed that she just wanted to mother her because nobody else did according to the stories she had heard about Evening's mother Abyss Horror. Firelion and Raccoon finally entered the camp as well and helped the Horrors and Gunwitch regain the advantage. Fletcher welcomed Raccoon, whose growl she still recognized, but Raccoon was just shocked at what she had done to herself. Doc Horror lost control over his body and mutated into the monster he prevented to become. He had the Paranthropus Gigantus at his mercy until Evening shouted at him. Fletcher stood in front of the Paranthropus Gigantus, which stayed at Fletcher's side when Raccoon told it to get lost. Firelion and Raccoon told Doc Horror to get his daughter to class because they knew where to get the Mark V inhibitor for and were enough to deal with the mutated scientists. Evening took the mutated children with them to the school while Firelion burned down the camp, killing Fletcher and her staff in the process. In the end the Paranthropus Gigantus was the sole survivor of the fire and held Fletcher's skull in his hand.

According to Nocturnals: A Midnight Companion (2004) Narn K was a subsidiary of the Halcyon Corporation in Pacific City, the home of the Nocturnals. It conducted genetic research into gene splicing and crossbreed technology, resulting in a number of hybrids and an army of synths sold to the highest bidders. Hybrids production stopped because they were too uncontrollable, but kept at the facility though many escaped over the years that would've otherwise been euthanized. The facility was guarded by 200 synthetic guards under the command of Mr. Fane that protected a staff of 275. They created 7 to 10 synthetic models a month.
Nocturnals is a creator-owned series owned by Dan Brereton. Nocturnals comics were published by different companies over the years, which is the reason why I ended up with an Image Comic appearance in this profile.
The Monster Shop went up in flames in Nocturnals#6 during the final battle between the Nocturnals and freed hybrids on one side and Fane, Lica and their extraterrestrial invasion force of the Crim on the other.
Nocturnals: Carnival of Beasts fits chronologically between Nocturnals#1-6 (January-August, 1995) and Nocturnals: The Dark Forever#1-3 (July, 2001 - February, 2002).
Considering what she had done to herself it seems very likely that Fletcher was heavily involved in the creation of the original hybrids.
Paranthropus Gigantus = Bigfoot
Most of their stories were collected in two Omnibuses, but a few additional stories were published since the second one. You can still support the continuation of the Nocturnals to this day on Kickstarter (which sucks for me because there is no viable option for me to support it).
