History:
(Captain America Comics I#18/5) - Wade Huston was a soldier in the Anzac Army during World War II. After an encounter with Axis forces in which Huston was shot in both lungs, he was summoned to the Anzacs' general headquarters and told because of the serious nature of his injury he was being retired from the Anzacs. However, Huston remained determined to combat the threat of the Axis and refused to stop fighting. Heading to the waterfront, he saw a ship bound for the USA. Thinking they could use his help against Nazi fifth columnists, Huston booked passage to New York.
As the ship was pulling out, Napoleon Sack fell overboard and Huston dived into the water to help him back to the ship. Napoleon thanked Huston and revealed he belonged to the Free French Army. After explaining his plan to Napoleon, the Frenchman insisted on assisting him.
Arriving in New York, they read in a newspaper about recent trucks and freight cars being wrecked by Nazi saboteurs and Huston decided they should investigate, to which Napoleon dubbed him "a Fighting Fool." When the bombers, led by the Nazi agent Herr Mongrel, set off a bomb to destroy a ship carrying food bringing in food, Huston and Napoleon happened to see them and attacked the Nazi agents with their bare hands. However, Herr Mongrel snuck up behind Huston and struck him with the butt of his gun, knocking him out.
The Nazis tied up Huston and Napoleon while they set off to destroy more ships but Huston found a piece of broken glass and used to to cut through his bonds. The two men found Herr Mongrel and his men about to deploy their bombs so they drove a car directly at them, then jumped free of the vehicle; the vehicle hit Herr Mongrel and his men's supply of bombs, setting them off in an explosion that killed all of the spies.
Later, Huston told the local police what he'd done and the police thanked him for his help.

Napoleon Sack was a soldier in the Free French Army. After falling overboard from a ship bound to New York, Napoleon was saved by Walt Huston. Huston told Napoleon about his plan to help the USA against Nazi fifth columnists and Napoleon agreed to join him. Napoleon dubbed Huston a "Fighting Fool" because of his determination to fight the Nazis. Napoleon assisted Huston in stopping Herr Mongrel and his Nazi spies from destroying ships in New York's harbor.
