Powers/Abilities: Exocet wears a
technologically advanced suit of thin mesh armor that augments her
strength (approx. 15 tons) plus flight capabilities via a flat
back-mounted flight pack (facilitating speed of up to approx. 100 mph),
which includes directional stabilizers, and limited armor. Exocet's
suit has a close-fitting heads-up display (HUD) for targeting her
wrist-mounted array of highly explosive missiles; each wrist appears to
have about 20 mini missiles. Her suit also has a self-repair program.
She relies heavily on her suit for her fighting ability. She has little
regard for excess damage she causes in pursuing mercenary kills.

History:
(Meteor Man I#5 (fb) - BTS) - Keen to destroy Meteor
Man (Jefferson Reed) and claim the meteorite-based cosmic power for
himself, wealthy Armand Skyy assembled a band of mercenaries, adding
the
technology-suited Exocet and the powerhouse Warhammer to his existing
hires, the phasing Ghost Strike and gun-wielding Malefactor.
(Meteor
Man I#5) - Skyy met his mercenary team in
person at a firing range. The next day, Skyy's team attacked Meteor
Man. Amongst the individual attacks, Exocet taunted the dazed Meteor
Man with a brief midair kiss before throwing him to the ground. A
coordinated strike saw
Meteor Man beaten near unconscious while Skyy
watched from a rooftop nearby. But Meteor Man refused to surrender and
broke free, then targeted his foes'
vulnerabilities. Exocet's back-mounted flight pack was accidentally
shattered by Malefactor's wild shooting and she careened wildly into a
building. The fight left only Warhammer and Meteor Man standing,
but it was interrupted by Meteor Man's nemesis, the equally
powered Simon Cain.
(Meteor Man I#6) - Exocet initiated her suit's self
repair program and followed Skyy's panicked orders to end Meteor Man.
With Warhammer down, Exocet unleashed multiple high-explosive mini
missiles at close range at Meteor Man and Cain, but both survived due
to their invulnerability. Cain angrily retaliated, throwing a car on
Exocet, then blasting an energy beam. Not wanting anyone to die,
compassionate Meteor Man rushed to help Exocet, but she was already
dead.

She occasionally uses French, so I assume she is of
French (or Algerian) nationality or origin. "Sacre Bleu!" (Her words,
not mine).
The word "exocet" is apparently derived from Greek and
Latin
roots meaning "flying fish", but came most to prominence from the
French anti-ship missile (after which this character was no doubt
named).
This profile was completed on 03/29/2026, but its
publication was delayed as it was intended for the Appendix 25th
anniversary's celebratory event to represent Meteor Man.
