History:
(Marvel Tsum Tsum#1) - Young superhero fans Albert
"Bert" Ergle, Duncan "Dunk" Diggs and Holly Hae chanced upon a lost
case of alien Tsum Tsums, excitable small shapeshifting creatures that
can partially mimic super-powered beings. But Bert, Dunk and Holly were
also drawn to a street fight between the Avengers and Ultron plus
Ultron drones. The Tsum Tsums copied the Avengers' basic powers and
looks.
(Marvel Tsum Tsum#1 (fb) - BTS) - Bert's mother Alice
found out about the Ultron-Avengers clash, and had her daughter Gisele
look for her brother to come home for safety.
(Marvel Tsum Tsum#2) - Back at the Ergle apartment,
the tired Tsum Tsum's stacked together as they rested, watched by the
fan trio and Gisele. Alice suddenly barged into Bert's room and invited
Dunk to stay for dinner; she noted the new stacked "toys"; Bert coyly
said Dunk had brought them. Later that night, the fankid trio went out
at night to see if the could train the chaotic Tsum Tsums into heroic
pursuits, but their adventures went too late on a school night, and
Bert was caught by Alice as he and Holly tried to sneak in by the
window.
(Marvel Tsum Tsum#3) - Angered, Alice demanded Bert hand over his comic books as she considered them a bad influence. Alice then escorted Holly up to her apartment to tell them of Holly's misadventures.
(Marvel Tsum Tsum#3 (fb) - BTS) - Alice grounded her
son so he had to go home immediately after school and threw out Bert's
photos of heroes he had taken.
(Marvel Tsum Tsum#4) - The next night, there was a brief localized blackout as the enigmatic Elder of the Universe, the Collector, arrived at the Ergle apartment to retrieve his case of Tsum Tsums. Alice was frightened of him but, persistent, he dissolved the door. Alice threw objects at him to no effect; she stopped when Gisele told her Bert had disappeared (secretly to find the Tsum Tsums, since encountering trouble with the revived Ultron and other Tsum Tsums corrupted by the criminal Looter).
(Marvel Tsum Tsum#4) - A polite truce was reached
between Alice and the Collector, the latter restraining his otherwise
sarcastic tone until Bert and the Tsum Tsums could be found. Later,
Alice and her son were happily reunited after Ultron was defeated by
the heroic Tsum Tsums and the Avengers. The corrupted Tsum Tsums were
secretly packed into their case and passed to the Collector. Alice
hoped to meet the Collector again some day.

The name Tsum Tsum is derived from the Japanese verb tsumu, meaning "to stack". The Tsum Tsum plush toys (and later small plastic ones) tied in with arcade and video games released around 2014, and followed mostly Disney-owned characters.
