DYNASONIC

Real Name: Omnya (presumably her first name, surname unrevealed; or vice-versa)

Identity/Class: Human mutate;
    fringe character (see comments)

Occupation: Student

Group Membership: Student body of her unidentified school

Affiliations: Mason, unidentified doctor

Enemies: D'Spayre;

Known Relatives: Unidentified mother

Aliases: None

Base of Operations: Unidentified town and state presumably in the United States of America

First Appearance: Custom Insulet Omnipod 2025 USA Comic#1 (August, 2025)

Powers/Abilities: Although presumably still a high school student, Omnya was apparently something of a genius and/or a prodigy, and she was able to design a pair of gauntlets able to discharge sonic energy.

    Additionally, she could recognize different sonic frequencies upon observing previous encounters via the internet and adjust the frequency of the sonic energy released from her gauntlets to a desired effect. Most significantly, she could produce a sonic effect that could banish D'Spayre from the physical plane.

    Omnya has diabetic mellitus, and when her sugar and insulin levels are poorly regulated, she was often exhausted and depressed.

    However, when she was well-regulated, Omnya was energetic and resourceful, able to resist the depressing effects of the demonic Fear-Lord D'Sprayre. The Omnipod tubeless insulin was pivotal in achieving  efficient rest/sleep and high levels of energy during her waking hours.

History:
(Custom Insulet Omnipod 2025 USA Comic#1 (fb) - BTS) -  Omnya was apparently a prodigy with electronics and sonics, and her mother set up a high-tech laboratory in their backyard garden shed.

    Everybody told Omnya that she had great potential, but after she developed diabetes mellitus, her life became like a roller coaster, and she felt her potential slipping away.

(Custom Insulet Omnipod 2025 USA Comic#1 (fb) - BTS) - Omnya sought to design a pair of sonic energy gauntlets. However, stress and difficulty regulating her diabetes left her exhausted and depressed. This, in turn, made her vulnerable to the Fear Lord demon D'Spayre, who had sensed that her sonic gauntlets could be dangerous to him. He spoke to her both when she slept and when she was awake, telling her that she was not good enough to accomplish her goals.

(Custom Insulet Omnipod 2025 USA Comic#1) - Omnya's doctor told her that her feelings were common, and she recommended the Omnipod tubeless insulin pump, which offered automated insulin delivery and replaced multiple daily injections. Although nervous about change, Omnya listened to everything her doctor told her and she started using the insulin pump system.

    That night, Omnya slept soundly, without hearing the voice, and she awoke feeling rested. At school, she talked to her friend Mason, telling him about her work on sonic gauntlets and assuring him that what he considered "dorky" was, in fact, awesome. That evening, she worked more productively.

    As her sound sleep prevented D'Spayre from tormenting her in her sleep, D'Spayre instead tormented Omnya's mother and friends, making them listless and depressed. Omnya appreciated the changes in Mason and her mother, and she resolved to perfect her sonic gauntlets to be able to oppose D'Spayre directly. While her first attempt resulted in an uncontrolled energy discharge, she was determined to make it controlled and directed. D'Spayre confronted her and told her she would fail repeatedly, causing her to scream and flee.

    However, the next day, Omnya researched the face she had seen, and she identified him as D'Spayre and researched his nature, including that he was using the energy he gained from others' fear to grow strong enough to manifest on the physical plane via psychic sound waves.

    As Omnya continued to work on her gauntlets, D'Spayre continued to try undermine her confidence, but she appreciated that she had the strength to resist him and that she had to do so. Watching footage of his past encounters, she was able to narrow down the frequency of his sonic signature.

    The next day, D'Spayre confronted Omnya while she was on the way to school with Mason. She asked D'Spayre why he was so obsessed with her, and he explained how he had been drawn to her fear and uncertainty and that he had also appreciated that she had the capacity to banish him from the physical plane via science. Announcing that she had the strength to defeat him, Omnya revealed her Dynasonic costume and blasted D'Spayre with her sonic gauntlets. As D'Spayre fought back, Omnya advised him that she had studied his past fights, and she unleashed the precise frequency that banished him from the physical plane.

    Omnya agreed to hang out with Mason the following night, as tonight she planned to think about her future. With her glucose levels controlled and D'Spayre defeated, she felt like she could accomplish anything, and she wanted to help her community and make the world a better place...and to test out some more sonar tech.
