Powers/Abilities: Freddy Cuckooger was a
carpenter by trade but became a recluse after his fingernails hardened
and became near unbreakable. Unable to use his fingers without cutting,
his appearance has become disheveled and unclean.

History:
(Count Duckula#11/1 (fb)) - One day, Freddy
Cuckooger's fingernails had hardened to such a degree that nail
clippers snapped. The longer they grew, the harder they became; even
hacksaw blades snapped. Freddy's anger mounted, his hygiene suffered,
his house and yard became dilapidated and neighbors moved. He wore a
hat to cover his appearance and he lost friends. Trying to write his
history on a blackboard made screeching noises as his fingernails
scraped. Rumors increased and villagers came to fear him, isolating him
further to his house on 13 Elm St.
(Count Duckula#11/1) - The failed vampire duck Count
Duckula sought a carpenter to make repairs to his Castle Duckula. He
went to the nearby village with his assistant Igor and found Freddy's
name in a phone book. Unable to gain directions from scared villagers,
the pair eventually found the decrepit house but were shocked by
Freddy's frightening appearance. Freddy accidentally slashed Duckula's
cape and the duo fled. But Igor, keen to make vampires a domineering
terror in Transylvania once more, convinced Duckula to return to Freddy
for his cape. Duckula found Freddy sobbing as he was alone; Freddy
returned the cape. But Duckula was now curious about Freddy's plight
and was told his history. Empathetic, Duckula offered to have his
powerfully strong Nanny manicure Freddy. Duckula apologized for judging
Freddy by his appearance, and they walked to Castle Duckula, trading
vegetarian recipes, much to Igor's chagrin.

Presumably/hopefully, Nanny was able to manicure
Freddy's nails on a regular basis. Evidently his toenails weren't
similarly affected.
Freddy Cuckooger is a clear homage/parody of Freddy Krueger, the nightmare killer on Elm Street.
This profile was completed on 06/26/2026,
but its publication was delayed as it was intended for the Appendix 25th
anniversary's celebratory event to represent Count Duckula.
