History: (Defenders: Beyond#4 (fb) - BTS) - Similar to his Earth-616 counterpart, Adam Brashear became the super hero Blue Marvel but was asked to step down and retire by President John F.Kennedy after his identity as a black man was exposed in 1962.
(Defenders: Beyond#4 (fb)) - Diverging from Earth-616, Adam chose not to obey the President's edict. A little over a year later, in November of 1963, he saved the President and the First Lady from an attempted assassination in Dallas by knocking Lee Harvey Oswald out and confiscating his rifle. Blue Marvel then flew towards the Kennedy's motorcade to inform the President of the attempt, pointing out how only by ignoring JFK's request was he able to save his life.
(Defenders: Beyond#4 (fb) - BTS) - Adam Brashear challenged Kennedy in the next presidential primary and won. In the general election he secured enough electoral votes to become the thirty-sixth President of the United States. After serving his term in office (see notes) he resumed his scientific and superhero career, at one point being being a member of the Ultimates.
(Defenders: Beyond#4) - Almost fifty years later, Adam Brashear was present at a rooftop celebration party for the heroes alongside the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, and others. The Avengers leader Tigra called him by his former title, and Brashear reminded her that they were equals and should be on a first name basis. During the party, America Chavez had brought her sister Catalina home from the real Utopian Parallel. Adam noted that almost the entire roster of the Ultimates was now present shortly before the party was joined by Taaia and her son Galactus the Life Bringer.
(Defenders: Beyond#4 - BTS) - These events were experienced by Earth-616 Blue Marvel in an illusion created by Glorian.
Comments: Created by Al Ewing and Javier Rodriguez.Blue Marvel himself was unsure whether Lee Harvey Oswald had any co-conspirators. A riddle for the ages, indeed.
In Defenders: Beyond#4
published in late 2022, Blue Marvel says that he left the presidency
"almost fifty years ago". He would have been sworn in on January 20,
1965, so it seems likely that he served both terms, leaving the office
in January of 1973.
--We may choose to
assume that this alternate reality did not follow the sliding
timescale, and so the appearance may stay fixed in 2022 of that
reality, rather than sliding forward like the mainstream

Earth-64124 Blue Marvel saved JFK and succeeded him as President. Tigra was the leader of the Avengers. America Chavez found and rescued her sister Catalina.
