Powers/Abilities: Banapur Khan was a normal human without any superhuman abilities.

    Khan was a ruthless man who didn't shy away from rape and murder. An authoritative figure, Khan easily lead a large crew of bloodthirsty thugs.

History:

(Wolverine II#1 (fb) - BTS) - Banapur Khan the so-called "prince of pirates" took on residency on the small Indonesian island of Telambang where he and his large crew preyed on refugees from Cambodia and Vietnam. Khan and his crew would generally kill the men, rape the women and sell those who survived into slavery.

(Wolverine II#1 (fb) - BTS) - Khan was contracted by the Japanese Cult of the Black Blade to acquire the Muramasa Sword. Having learned that Noburo Kojima, personal secretary of Mariko Yoshida, was flying with Sovereign Airways Khan's crew managed to hijack Sovereign flight 49 and land it on Telambang.

(Wolverine II#1 (fb) - BTS) - Khan and his crew murdered the flight's male passengers, dumping them in a large mass grave and kept the female passengers and cabin crew separated. The plane's Captain, Lee Kwan Pen was strung up by his arms while Khan prepared to murder the man with a sword.

(Wolverine II#1) - Just as Khan tried to murder Captain Lee Kwam Pen, the man managed to free his legs and kick Khan in the gut. Khan's crew watched as he fell to the floor, almost receiving a stomp to the face by Pen. Khan then grabbed the man by his tie and beheaded him much to the horror of the surviving women who were made to watch the spectacle.

  Banapur Khan and his crew then made their way to a small cabin where they had kept Noburo Kojima just as Wolverine arrived to save the man. Seemingly unsurprised by the small Canadian, Khan returned to the women while his crew fought the mutant. When the sounds of the battle went numb, Kahn called out to his men but was surprise d when the mutant had apparently killed his entire crew with his adamantium-laced claws.

    In an effort to defend himself, Khan took one of the female passengers hostage, threatening to slit her throat if the mutant attacked him. With Wolverine slowly following him, Kahn boarded a speedboat with the hostage and took off, believing himself to have escaped. However, just then an armed stewardess appeared from the boat's cabin and shot Khan in the chest, causing him to fall in the water and presumably die.

    Telambang was described as being a small island in the heart of the Indonesian archipelago, it is however only exists in the Marvel Universe.

  Khan's crew consisted of approximately two dozen of pirates who primarily preyed on boat people, refugees fleeing Cambodia and Vietnam, stripping them of everything they possess of value. Khan's crew generally killed the men and raped the women, any who survived was sold into slavery.

Khan's entire crew was murdered by Wolverine when he came searching for the Japanese Noburo Kojima.
