History:
(Conan (Dark Horse) I#2 - BTS) - Atali was the daughter of Ymir,
allegedly a half-breed. She appeared before the soldiers in the snowy
Nordheim region and teasingly led them to her brothers, who killed the
strangers and gave their hearts to their father. Atali once appeared in
front of a wounded Gorm, but he couldn't crawl after her.
(Conan
(Dark Horse) I#2) - Conan, wandering the lands of Nordheim after a bloody
battle, had lost consciousness. Waking up, he heard a laugh and saw the
half-naked Atali wearing a transparent veil. The meeting with the girl was
extremely unexpected for Conan, and the barbarian suggested that she was a
native of Vanir, stating that he was ready to fight with men from her
folk. However, Atali let him know that she was not from Vanir at all.
The daughter of the Frost Giant then began to tease Conan. The warrior was
led on provocation and furiously ran after her. Atali ran to the
mountains, where Conan found out why the girl had arranged these games:
she had lured him into a trap so that he would become a victim of her
brothers. Atali's Frost Giant brothers attacked the barbarian but were
killed, shocking Atali, who tried to escape. Conan attempted to rape the
girl and then kill her but she mentioned the name Ymir and begged for help
before disappearing, dazzling Conan.

Atali's hair is depicted as blond on the Conan#2 cover.
Conan#2 (by Dark Horse) is based on the 1932 short story The Frost Giant's Daughter. This is not the first comic book adaptation of the story, as it was previously adapted by Marvel in 1971's Savage Tales I#1.
Dark Horse's Conan
comics were reprinted by Marvel from 2019 to 2022 in collected volumes
and were also released digitally as individual issues in the Marvel
Unlimited and Comixology apps. Conan#2 was included in Conan Chronicles
Epic Collection TPB: Out of The Darksome Hills.
This presumably places them in the Marvel
Megaverse.
