Powers/Abilities: Hilary is a mutant, with apparently the combined powers of her parents' Earth-616 counterparts. When her powers first manifested, she levitated herself and generated enough energy to cause an explosion in her house. She also created a costume for herself. When using her powers, her eyes emit a bright flaming glow similar to that of Firestar-616.

History: (Justice: Four Balance#2) - Hilary was the daughter of Vance and Angelica Astrovik, who did not exhibit any visible powers and lived a mundane, non-superhero life.
As a toddler, Hilary was playing with two aluminium cans by smashing them together. Her father yelled at her to stop and slapped the cans out of Hilary's hands when she did not. Hilary began crying, and her mother came and picked her up, telling Vance that his yelling and hitting was not accomplishing anything. As Hilary grew up, such incidents recurred in a disturbing pattern.
As a teenager, Hilary was making out with Robbie Baldwin in her house when her loud music woke her father up. He burst into Hilary bedroom, catching the two in an embrace, and began shouting sexual insults at his daughter. Vance yelled at Baldwin to get out and angrily slapped Hilary, demanding that she show him respect. Robbie tried to stand up for Hilary, but she told him to leave immediately, and he complied.
Vance raised his hand against Hilary again, the stress of which caused her mutant powers to manifest, creating an explosion in their house. Floating above her father as he lay in the rubble, Hilary boasted that he would never lay a hand on her again as she now had the power. Vance apologized in a whisper just as Hilary's mother, Angelica, and grandmother, Norma, arrived. Hilary asked them for permission to hurt her abuser back, and the two women backed her up, but instead Hilary powered down and said that she would not kill her father or perpetuate the cycle of violence. She walked away as Angelica cradled Vance, who kept sobbing that he deserved to be hurt.
History: (Justice: Four Balance#2 - BTS) - Vance Astrovik of Earth-616 experienced these events through an illusion induced by Hate Monger .
Comments: Created by Fabian Nicieza and Craig Brasfield. Neither Vance nor Angelica Astrovik of Earth-49120 had used any superpowers or superhero codenames and must have been either regular humans, or mutants whose powers had not manifested. Assuming that the rest of reality-49120 history is otherwise similar to that of reality-616, the character of Robbie Baldwin is far too young to be this reality's counterpart of Speedball and is presumably his descendant.CLARIFICATIONS:
