History:
(Ant-Man III#1 (fb) - BTS) - The racketeering Protector founded the Ant-Agonists in an attempt to get revenge on the hero. Recruiting Ant-Man's defeated foes into the group, the Protector first enlisted Liso Trago and restored Trago's memories of his previous defeat. He then had Trago use his hypnotic trumpet to restore the devious Time Master identity in Prof. Elias Weems. They then recruited the Window Washer into the Ant-Agonists and began plotting their revenge, figuring they would need to devise a trap to lure Ant-Man into their clutches.

(Ant-Man III#1) - Keeping an eye around town for signs of Ant-Man, the Window Washer happened to be eavesdropping outside a theater playing The Sub-Mariner vs. the Fantastic Four film when the young Eric O'Grady ran from the theater screaming about ants. Suspecting Ant-Man was nearby, the Window Washer signaled the other Ant-Agonists using a wrist-mounted radio transmitter. When Ant-Man ran outside of the theater, the Window Washer sprayed him with paralyzing fluid and gloated to the paralyzed hero about how he escaped his alien overlords. A taxicab soon pulled up and Liso Trago emerged from the cab and helped the Window Washer get the paralyzed Ant-Man inside before the Time Master drove them away.

Upon arriving at their apartment base, the Ant-Agonists shackled Ant-Man to the wall and removed his helmet, unaware Ant-Man had managed to get a distress call to a group of ants before his capture. Ant-Man stalled the group, admitting that he recognized the Protector, who then began gloating about how he had formed the Ant-Agonists. The Protector then announced that the Ant-Agonists would each subject Ant-Man to their powers one-by-one before they finished off the hero and Trago began the first attack, subjecting Ant-Man to nightmarish hallucinations with his music as the other Ant-Agonists donned earmuffs to protect themselves. As the Wasp, having been summoned by Ant-Man's ants, arrived, the Time Master prepared to subject Ant-Man to his aging ray.

Wasp quickly attacked Trago and the other Ant-Agonists attempted to swat the Wasp with their own weapons and powers but the Protector, worried the Ant-Agonists would lose their chance at revenge, ordered the Time Master to use his aging ray on Ant-Man. Happy to do so, the Time Master aged Ant-Man into an elderly state but Ant-Man's thinner form allowed him to squeeze free of his bounds. The aged Ant-Man then knocked out the Time Master and used his aging ray to degrade the bottle of paralyzing fluid used by the Window Washer. The fluid then poured onto the Window Washer, paralyzing him as Ant-Man used the aging ray to restore his youth. Seeing his plans foiled, the Protector attempted to flee through a window, leaving the rest of the Ant-Agonists behind, but Ant-Man pursued at insect size and knocked the Protector out. A short time later, Ant-Man and the Wasp watched as the defeated Ant-Agonists were arrested and taken into custody.
