History: (Angela: Queen of Hel#4 (fb) - BTS) - Angela's early history apparently mirrored reality-616, being the daughter of Asgard's rulers Odin and Freyja who was presumed killed during Asgard's war with Heven but had survived and was raised in secret as one of Heven's Angels, unaware of her true heritage.

(Angela: Queen of Hel#4) - Angela fought a monster attacking the Anchorites, the rare and wingless male Angels, in their temple. The monster took Angela's left arm, though she still prevailed over it in the end.

Angela replaced her missing arm with a prosthetic axe weapon. Without a loved one to soften her, she became brutal and bitter. Eventually she was crowned as the Queen of Heven.

Sera, now Hierophant Queen, raised the Anchorites to end their servitude to Heven. Answering this rebellion that challenged her, Angela battled the Hierophant Queen and killed her.

(Angela: Queen of Hel#4 - BTS) - The history of Reality-61449 Angela and Sera was shown to their counterparts on Earth-616 by Hela as part of a trial they had to face.

Comments: Created by Marguerite Bennett and Stephanie Hans.

The Hierophants of the Tenth Realm are powerful Angels who oversee the Anchorites and don't answer even to the Queen. In the vision, Sera-61449 kills one of the Hierophants and takes on her garb for herself, becoming Hierophanta and later Hierophant Queen. It is somewhat unclear to me whether she truly usurps the Hierophants or is merely using their name in defiance of their power.

Angela-61449's history diverged from that of her Reality-616 counterpart when she fought a monster attacking the Anchorites in their temple. Reality-616 Angela was assisted by one of the Anchorites called Sera, and the two of them eventually became lovers. In this reality, however, Sera was not there to aid her, and the monster took Angela's left arm, though she still prevailed over it in the end.

This version of Angela apparently never experienced the events that led her Prime Marvel Universe counterpart to return to the Nine Realms and learn of her true parentage.

Angela's physical attributes are taken from her reality-616 counterpart.
Despite consistent representation thusly in the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe, Asgardians having masses 2-3x that of a human has been called into question. I suspect that they are more massive (heavier), but to a much lesser degree and that their tissue is just more durable, perhaps magically so.
