(Actual Romances I#2/2 (fb)) - Marge went to work as secretary to Drew Sanders, a theatrical agent. Drew introduced her to Honey Jones, a Broadway star to whom he was engaged. Marge went to her desk and overheard Drew and Honey having an argument in Drew's office. Honey disliked Marge and complained to Drew about her, feeling jealous that he was going to be taking Marge with him to meet his contacts in the theatrical world.
When Paul Terris came by Drew's office to talk about his play, Paul was immediately taken by Marge and invited her to dinner. Marge was reluctant to do this, but Drew encouraged her, telling her part of her job was "entertaining royalty." Marge went to dinner with Paul and afterward he took her to a barn dance, claiming it was research for his play. Paul wanted Marge to become his "research assistant" once he was a successful playwright. They kissed, and promised to meet again.
One night, Drew took Marge dancing and Honey watched them, fuming. Drew cautioned Marge to never fall for a show business phony, "not even me!" One night when Drew took Marge to a party at the Van Stedman home, Honey started a fight with Drew, accusing him of grooming Marge to become a star and take her place. Drew denied this, instead telling her Van Stedman had promised to finance Paul Terris' new play, which had a starring role for Honey in it. Honey ignored Drew's explanations and he fled her with Marge to see Van Stedman.
One morning, Drew came into the office elated, until he saw in the newspaper that Honey had married a playboy. Seeing Drew was in shock, Marge helped him back to his home. Drew told her he no longer wanted to live; when Marge left him alone in his room for a moment, Drew shot himself. Without thinking, Marge picked up the gun, just as Honey and Paul arrived at the house and saw her over the body.
(Actual Romances I#2/2) - Marge was put on trial for suspicion of murdering Drew. At Marge's trial, Honey testified against her, claiming on the stand that Marge had been her rival. Paul also testified, attempting to vouch for Marge's good character. However, after Marge's testimony, Honey realized her fake announcement of marrying another man had caused Drew to commit suicide. She tearfully admitted she'd found Drew's suicide note and hidden it. Producing the note, Honey cleared Marge of murder.
As Marge kissed Paul in the courtroom, the judge remarked he ought to marry them before he closed the courtroom.

Honey Jones was Drew Sanders' fiancee. When Drew hired Marge Allen as his secretary, Honey became jealous and broke up with Drew. Honey arranged for a news story that claimed she'd married a Park Avenue playboy but when Drew killed himself in reaction, Honey found his body. She hid Drew's suicide note and tried to pin Drew's death on Marge. After testifying against Marge, Honey learned Drew had killed himself because of her deception. Honey produced the note in the court, clearing Marge.

Drew Sanders was a theatrical agent and boss to Marge Allen. Honey Jones was his girlfriend. When Honey became jealous of Marge, she wound up breaking up with Drew and marrying another man.
