History:
(Strange Tales I#11/1 (fb) - BTS) - Mister Jip conjured up Yipyap to serve as his eyes in the world like Odin's ravens. He sent the split up creature out to locate and observe individuals with dark souls that Jip could later use as a host.
(Strange Tales I#10/1) - Dagger arrived at the Holy Ghost Church where she found Mister Jip holding Cloak with Day and Night standing next to him and Yipyap floated above him.
(Strange Tales I#11/1) - Yipyap had its eyes closed while Mister Jip told Dagger about how he became the sorcerer he was today. He then woke up Yipyap and explained how he created it and what its sole purpose was. He split up Yipyap to demonstrate how it worked. Still split up, Yipyap floated near his creator when Dagger decided to fight back. Her fight with Day lured the Predator from the Darkforce dimension through the portal contained inside Cloak. The extradimensional monster tossed Day against a wall, Jip fled the scene and Night carried Day to safety with Yipyap staying close by her side.
(Strange Tales I#15/1) - Yipyap delivered a message from Mister Jip to Cloak at the Holy Ghost Church wherein Jip made it clear that he now called in the favor Cloak owed him.
(Strange Tales I#16/1 - BTS) - Mister Jip observed Dagger through Yipyap's eyes and after capturing Cloak conjured up a mystic viewscreen to show Dagger's current predicament to Cloak through Yipyap's eyes.
(Strange Tales I#17/1 - BTS) - Jip kept showing Dagger's fight against an army of shadowy beings and then Night via the mystic viewscreen that showed what Yipyap saw.
(Strange Tales I#18/1 - BTS) - The viewscreen showing what Yipyap saw was still up, but Mister Jip had lost interest after Cloak had suddenly vanished even though there was no way he was powerful enough to escape Jip's mystic bonds.
(Strange Tales I#18/1) - Night later sent Yipyap back to Mister Jip to inform him that she had defeated Dagger.
(Mutant Misadventures of Cloak and Dagger#1) - Yipyap observed the fight between the corrupted Dagger and X-Factor. Night split Yipyap up and sent one eye back to Mister Jip to report to him what was going on while the other eye stayed to keep observing the fight. Mister Jip enjoyed the information Yipyap delivered to him on Dagger's turn to darkness, memory loss and attack on innocent people and X-Factor. He was still aggravated over the fact that Cloak had somehow escaped him and squeezed and pulled on the one-eyed creature until releasing it back into the air where Yipyap first quivered and then just kept floating.
The fight between Dagger and X-Factor ended when Cloak suddenly appeared and absorbed the darkness from Dagger. He noticed one of Yipyap's eyes floating nearby and told Beast to grab Jip's little spy, but Yipyap escaped and reunited with its other eye at Jip's side.
(Mutant Misadventures of Cloak and Dagger#3) - One eye of Yipyap hung with Night at Jip's base and seemed tired while Jip did some research on the black arts and Francis Delgado kneeled next to him.
