pressure and extreme temperatures of outer space. It is equipped with a
FTL (Faster Than Light) drive in its engines that fully allow the
Wayfarer to escape Earth's atmosphere.
History:

Black#3 (fb) - BTS) - Tony Stark unveiled the prototype Quinjet dubbed
the Wayfarer, noting its FTL (Faster Than Light) engines capable of
allowing the jet to escape Earth's atmosphere.
(Symbiote Spider-Man: King in Black#3) - While swinging through New York City, Spider-Man heard a roaring sound emanating from Avengers Mansion and he soon saw the Wayfarer prototype Quinjet taking off. Recognizing it from its public unveiling the month prior, Spider-Man became curious as to where it was going and he hitched a ride on it by webbing the side of the jet. Immediately yanked towards the Quinjet, Spider-Man prepared to let the Avengers know he was on the side of the Wayfarer despite finding it odd that they would be taking off when the Black Knight seemed to be led into a trap at Avengers Mansion. Climbing to the front of the Wayfarer, Spider-Man was chagrined to find the shadowy Mister E piloting the Wayfarer and Mister E quickly spun the Wayfarer around multiple times until Spider-Man was flung off the Wayfarer, only to be caught by another spacecraft, the Rakk'n Ruin II.
(Symbiote Spider-Man: King in Black#4) - Following
Mister E's defeat at the interstellar Knowhere, Knowhere's security
chief Cosmo utilized the Wayfarer to return Mister E's Alistaire
Smythe, shadow host Ned Leeds and two other shadow hosts to Earth.
