RAKK'N RUIN II
Classification: Extraterrestrial spacecraft
Creator: Unrevealed
User/Possessors: Black Knight (Dane Whitman),
Captain Marvel (Monica Rambeau), Kang the Conqueror (Nathaniel Richards
of Earth-6311), Rocket Raccoon, Spider-Man (Peter Parker)
First Appearance: Symbiote Spider-Man: King in
Black#1 (January, 2021)
Powers/Abilities/Functions: The Rakk'n Ruin II
functions as a typical space-faring ship, constructed so the ship can
withstand the immense gravimetric pressures of traveling through space
and the intense heat of stars such as Earth's sun. It is equipped with
its own internal gravity field and houses a healing bay equipped with
tubes that individuals can be placed into for accelerated healing.
History:
(Symbiote Spider-Man: King in Black#1 (fb) - BTS) - The
extraterrestrial Rocket Raccoon became the captain and only crewman on
the Rakk'n Ruin II, which he used to travel through space.
(Symbiote Spider-Man: King in Black#1) - As the Earth-6311 time-traveling conqueror Kang floated in space following the destruction of his own ship, the Rakk'n Ruin II flew by and picked up Kang. Once Kang was onboard the Rakk'n Ruin II, Rocket Raccoon welcomed the conqueror aboard and demanded to know who he was.
(Symbiote Spider-Man: King in Black#3 (fb) - BTS) - After learning that Kang was seeking to save the universe, Rocket agreed to take the Rakk'n Ruin II to Earth, where they arrived moments after the Black Knight was stabbed by his own Ebony Blade. Transporting the Black Knight aboard the Rakk'n Ruin II, Rocket and Kang placed the hero in the ship's healing bay to recover.
(Symbiote Spider-Man: King in Black#3) - When Spider-Man was flung off of the Wayfarer Quinjet as the shadowy Mister E piloted it off-Earth, Rocket had the Rakk'n Ruin II pick up the falling Spider-Man and the hero was brought onboard, only to kick Kang when he recognized the villain. A fight quickly ensued between Spider-Man and Kang while Rocket tried to continue flying the Rakk'n Ruin II but the fight was eventually broken up when Kang proved his intentions by showing Spider-Man the recovering Black Knight in the ship's healing bay. Kang then explained the threat of the shadow creatures by showing Spider-Man one of the captured creatures that he intended to separate from its host and eject into the sun. When the Rakk'n Ruin II flew close enough to the sun, Kang did just that, revealing the creature's host to be the heroic Captain Marvel, who immediately attacked Kang just as Spider-Man had. The foursome then discussed why Mister E would want the Black Knight's Ebony Blade and where he might be taking it to destroy it, at which point Captain Marvel suggested he might take it to Knowhere.
(Symbiote Spider-Man: King in Black#5) - Following
the defeat of Mister E and the reacquisition of the Black Knight's
Ebony Blade, Captain Marvel, Spider-Man, Kang and Rocket flew the
Rakk'n Ruin II near the shadowed sun and Captain Marvel used the Ebony
Blade to purge the sun of darkness, restoring it to normal.
