Powers/Abilities: Toby is a young infant with the mutant power to produce a powerful sonic scream. The scream causes sonic vibrations powerful enough to shatter glass and steel. Toby's sonic scream was seen disintegrating Laura Kinney's hand when she tried covering his mouth.

History:
(X-Men Red I#1 - BTS) - Toby was a young and otherwise normal infant boy.
(X-Men Red I#1) - While driving through Roosevelt Island, young mom Amy and her infant son Toby were in for a surprise when they were suddenly stopped by two carjackers. After pulling Amy out of the car and driving away in her car, carjackers Kyle and Booch failed to realize that there was an infant still seated in the back of the car. The enormous stress of the situation caused the little Toby to manifest his mutant nature as his screams began to grow louder and more painful to listen to as Kyle and Booch were forced to stop the car and cover their ears. Toby's fearful scream began to intensify causing the car's windows and those nearby to shatter. Having learned of the young mutant's plight Jean Grey and her team of X-Men arrived to deal with the situation. Wolverine (Laura Kinney) attempted to silence Toby by covering his mouth, only to have her hand disintegrate to the bone when Toby resumed crying, propelling Wolverine and Honey Badger backward. It was only through Jean Grey's intervention that the turmoil was quelled, as she employed her telepathic abilities to soothe young Toby and subsequently placed psychic inhibitors on him to regulate his emotional outbursts. Grey then reunited Toby with his mother, explaining the steps taken to ensure his well-being, including coordinating with Hank McCoy to devise a dampening necklace to assist Toby in controlling his powers as he grew older. Before departing, Jean reassured Amy that the Xavier Institute would continue to support Toby in mastering his abilities as he matured.
(X-Men Red I#1 - BTS) - Sometime later, ANB News reported on the events, labeling Toby as the "Baby Bomb".

Mutants usually manifest their mutant abilities during puberty, seeing Toby manifested them during infancy could indicate he could grow up to become an omega-level mutant.

Shocked when her car was stolen with her infant son seated in the back, Amy yelled out for her son. Several moments later when the X-Men arrived, Amy could only watch in awe as the superhumans rescued her son. Amy thanked Jean Grey for their help.

Booch and Kyle were two carhijackers
When the duo stole Amy's car they failed to realize her infant son was still seated in the back. The criminals were helpless when Toby unleashed his sonic scream, unable to free themselves from the car they were rendered unconscious. Although unrevealed it seems likely Booch and Kyle were turned over to the local authorities, presumably with their hearing destroyed.
