(X-Men '97 II#1 - BTS) - Under unrevealed circumstances Apocalypse recruited Stinger into the Alliance of Evil alongside Frenzy, Timeshadow and Tower. The group was supposedly tasked with advancing En Sabah Nur's agenda of survival of the fittest.
(X-Men '97 II#1 (fb) - BTS) - At an unrevealed point, Frenzy left the Alliance of Evil to join Fabian Cortez's Acolytes. Saddened by her departure, Stinger admitted it no longer felt right continuing without Frenzy.
(X-Men '97 II#1) - While awaiting Apocalypse's return, the Alliance of Evil met with their liaison from the Clan Akkaba, unaware they had been lured into a trap by X-Force, who hoped to uncover Apocalypse's plans. Arriving at an abandoned bar, the group was ambushed by Cable's team. While Cable and Archangel engaged Tower and Psylocke struck Timeshadow from behind, Stinger was surrounded by Cable, Archangel and Psylocke. Remaining on the ground, she mistook them for the X-Men as Cable interrogated her, prompting him to remark that they were nothing like the X-Men.
Comments: Created by Bob Layton, Jackson Guice, and Joe Rubinstein;
adapted by Steve Fox and Salvador Espin
When, in 2015's Secret Wars, the Multiverse was destroyed following the incursions of planets it appeared as if Reality-92131 was drafted onto Battleworld as the Westchester domain. However, this has since been debunked. As such the reality seen in the two volumes of X-Men '92 (2015 and 2016-2017) now have their own reality-designation of Earth-15730. The X-Men '92: House of XCII (2022) series was inspired by both the animated series and Hickman's House of X run but is its own separate reality. The limited series X-Men '97 (2024), however, is Reality-92131 and bridges the gap between the original X-Men: The Animated Series cartoon and the new X-Men '97: The Animated Series cartoon.
