History:
(Damage Control IV#2 (fb)) - An alien Flerken, Rooster devoured Henry Worley, the husband of the elderly Mrs. Worley who kept Rooster as a pet despite Rooster having eaten Henry.

(Damage Control IV#2) - After waiting in line to make an insurance claim with Damage Control, Mrs. Worley and Rooster entered the "office" (a bathroom) of Damage Control intern Gus, who introduced himself and admitted he liked Mrs. Worley's cat. Mrs. Worley insisted that Rooster was not a cat but an alien Flerken, to which Gus amended his statement to say he liked her Flerken. Mrs. Worley claimed she did not like Rooster, Gus asked her to elaborate and Mrs. Worley revealed how Rooster had eaten her husband. Gus followed up by asking Mrs. Worley what else Rooster had eaten, at which Mrs. Worley began claiming Rooster had eaten her eighty million dollar penthouse at the top of the Woolworth Building.

After Mrs. Worley was sent to Damage Control's Robin Chapel to file a claim for damages caused by Rooster, Chapel believed Rooster to be a simple tabby cat and she later informed Gus that Rooster was one of sixty cats that lived with Mrs. Worley in her Hell's Kitchen studio apartment. Shocked that Mrs. Worley's stories about Rooster were apparently false, Gus was then informed that Mrs. Worley visited Damage Control on a weekly basis claiming one of her cats was a Flerken that had eaten any number of outlandish things she had claimed to own. Following his scolding from Robin Chapel about being grifted by those trying to make insurance claims with Damage Control, Gus was asked to keep an eye out for Rooster, whom Mrs. Worley warned she would set loose in the Damage Control offices if her insurance claim was not approved.

(Damage Control IV#5) - Rooster was outside the Damage Control offices cleaning itself on a dumpster when Gus walked by carrying the cosmic Galactus Seed artifact. As Gus continued walking while the Galactus Seed spoke to him, the alien Klyntar symbiote Urinal Cake creeped towards Rooster and tried to talk Rooster into coming closer to it. Rooster hissed at Urinal Cake then extended several tentacles to devour Urinal Cake, who screamed in fear. Rooster then went back to cleaning itself.

Rooster
should be distinguished from:

Mrs. Worley

Mrs. Worley was the owner of Rooster and fifty-nine cats, some of which may or may not be Flerkens like Rooster. Not long after acquiring Rooster, Mrs. Worley witnessed Rooster devour her husband Henry and despite that, Mrs. Worley continued to care for Rooster and her other pets. She eventually began making weekly trips to the Damage Control offices hoping to get approved for insurance money by claiming a random one of her cats had devoured something of value that she did not actually possess. When Mrs. Worley brought Rooster to the Damage Control offices to make the claim that Rooster had devoured her husband, Damage Control intern Gus listened to her story and approved her to move forward to a meeting with Damage Control's Robin Chapel. Aware of Mrs. Worley's weekly claims, Chapel denied Mrs. Worley claim under the assumption that Worley was again making up claims to get insurance money. Angry that Damage Control had denied her legitimate claim, Mrs. Worley warned that she would set Rooster loose in the Damage Control offices.
