Powers/Abilities: Coma can feed on electrical energy, ranging from pure electricity itself to the electrical energy stored in a humanoid brain. She can sense electrical energy in her vicinity via sense of smell.

    She also has sharp fangs and claws.

History:
(Avengers Assemble II#3) - After joining the violent, anti-vampire Nightstalkers group led by Abby Morris, the electricity-devouring Coma joined the team in an attack on New York's North Brother Island, an island populated by non-violent civilian vampires. Abby quickly began killing nearby vampires and she ordered Coma to devour all the electricity she could in an effort to put the vampires back in the dark. As the battle progressed and the Avengers Emergency Response Squad arrived to rescue the civilian vampires, Coma was feeding on the electrical energy within vampire brains, noting to Abby that the energy was a unique delight. Her teammate Bloodscream commented on what kind of hunters the Nightstalkers were, composed of the electrophage Coma, the Baalist Voracious and the "ichor-tempered redneck" Abby Morris. When the Avengers' Lightning transformed into his lightning form to rescue an elderly civilian, Coma immediately smelled the electricity given off by Lightning and leaped in to battle him. She then began feeding on Lightning's electricity, noting that it was unlikely she would let him go and she absorbed all of his electricity. When Wonder Man downed Abby Morris, Coma pounced onto Wonder Man, only to get elbowed in the face. From inside Coma, Lightning absorbed all of the electricity from Coma's body before erupting from her form, leaving Coma's drained and defeated as the rest of the Avengers Emergency Response Squad rounded up the other Nightstalkers. They were all then taken into custody to face justice in the Vampire Nation.

    It was never explained how Coma became an electrical vampire. It could have happened by any number of ways such as her being a human who was mutated, a mutant born with electrical-feeding abilities, being a member of some sort of hidden race, etc.

    Abby Morris' Nightstalkers are not to be confused with the original Nightstalkers, aka Borderline Investigations, that counted Frank Drake, Hannibal King and Blade among their number.
